tvN's upcoming weekend drama Typhoon Family unveils stills, featuring Kim Min Ha.

Typhoon Family follows Kang Tae Poong (Lee Jun Ho), CEO of a trading company with no employees, no money, and nothing to sell, navigating the 1997 IMF crisis.

Through the survival stories of ordinary people who, even in those bleak times when the world seemed to have come to an end due to the devastating crisis that struck Korea, held their ground, the drama aims to deliver solace and courage to those going through hard times today.

In the drama, Kim Min Ha takes on the role of bookkeeper Oh Mi Seon, who lives through the IMF crisis. A textbook example of the eldest daughter shouldering the family livelihood, Mi Seon does her utmost at Typhoon Company while nurturing her dream of becoming a career woman.

In the stills, Mi Seon, busily tapping away at her calculator, organizing the ledgers, shows the concentration befitting a bookkeeper. Her precision — like a "human Excel" who doesn't miss a single receipt or number — is her greatest weapon. Even though her real duties mostly consist of cleaning, washing dishes, and sorting receipts, the sparkle in her eyes holds firm and determined dreams for a greater world.

Every morning, Mi Seon studies English with Oh Sung Shik’s Good Morning Pops and scans the editorials and job ads in discarded newspapers to sharpen her skills, embodying the unyielding will of youth, refusing to break down before the walls of harsh reality.

As she meets Kang Tae Poong (Lee Jun Ho) and clashes with him, her journey of transforming from "bookkeeper Mi Seon" into "career woman Mi Seon" is set to stand as an epitome of the fierce, burning struggles of youth of those times.

The production team remarked, "Kim Min Ha is delivering detailed and deep acting, as if she has fully embodied that era," adding, "She is an actress who breathes authenticity into the story of ordinary people who endured the 1997 IMF crisis." They continued, "Oh Mi Seon's record of youth will bring viewers empathy, solace, and profound emotion."

Typhoon Family is coming this October, on Netflix.
