On June 4, distributor Triple Pictures unveiled new posters and a teaser for the film Hana Korea, offering a glimpse of Kim Min Ha's performance as Hye Sun, a North Korean defector.

Hana Korea is a film inspired by true events that follows the journey of Hye Seon (Kim Min Ha), a North Korean defector who strives to move forward despite finding herself in an unfamiliar life. The work portrays the life and growth of a North Korean defector through the perspective of a Danish director.

The posters depict Hye Sun, a North Korean defector who has come to South Korea and is undergoing questioning by the National Intelligence Service. The first one features Hye Sun's profile alongside the tagline, "The courage to move forward," conveying both the anxiety and determination of someone standing before a new life. Another one bears the phrase "I'll keep moving forward," highlighting Hye Sun's unwavering determination not to give up on her life despite countless hardships.

The teaser begins with Hye Sun being questioned by the National Intelligence Service. It then captures her shifting emotions as she says, "In my darkest moments, I found strength in what you used to tell me," followed by, "Live like a viper."

The teaser comes to a close with Hye Sun's question, "Will I ever be able to call this place my home?" alongside images of an unfamiliar, gray-toned Seoul.
