SBS announced on April 23 that Kim Rae Won and Park Hoon have been confirmed for the new drama Full Count.

Full Count depicts the struggle for survival of those who stake everything in a ruthless sports battleground filled with schemes and tactics, all to claim the throne of "professional baseball manager." This will be SBS's first baseball drama in eight years, following the 2019 smash hit Hot Stove League.

Kim Rae Won will play Hwang Jin Ho, the acting manager of the popular baseball team "Stars", which is on the brink of being eliminated from the postseason. A former catcher turned battery coach, Hwang Jin Ho is a baseball figure who spent most of his playing career as a backup. Though he is more highly regarded as a coach, he has lived as an outsider within the "Stars" due to the team's exclusionary culture that values "pure-blooded" insiders. He plunges into the whirlwind by taking on the acting manager position, which is like a "poisoned chalice."

Park Hoon will portray Jo Dong Hee, the legendary pitcher of the "Stars" and a pitching coach, considered the top candidate for the next manager position. Despite his illustrious career, he carries the void of never having won a championship as a player and aims to lift the trophy as a leader. He considers it humiliating to even be competing against Hwang Jin Ho for the manager position and reveals his ambition to rise to the top by making Hwang Jin Ho a scapegoat.

Full Count is scheduled to air in 2027. Stay tuned!
