Hwang Jung Min, Zo In Sung, Jung Ho Yeon's 'Hope' teases terrifying alien threat
Lee Na Young, Jung Eun Chae, Lee Chung Ah urge women to 'Reach out—we will hold your hands' in Honor
The Genie TV original drama Honor has unveiled a teaser giving a glimpse of the three attorneys, Yun Ra Yeong, Kang Sin Jae, and Hwang Hyeon Jin, in action.
Honour is a law drama that follows three female lawyers — Yun Ra Yeong (Lee Na Young), Kang Sin Jae (Jung Eun Chae), and Hwang Hyeon Jin (Lee Chung Ah) — working at L&J Law Firm as they confront the past head-on after it returns as a huge scandal.
The teaser shows the distinct colors of Yun Ra Yeong (Lee Na Young), a celebrity lawyer; Kang Sin Jae (Jung Eun Chae), the firm's flawless CEO; and Hwang Hyeon Jin (Lee Chung Ah), a passionate, action-oriented lawyer, all from the law firm L&J (Listen & Join), which specializes in legal cases involving women victims of crime.
It begins with Yun Ra Yeong, a celebrity lawyer who speaks her mind without hesitation, even in the media. On a current-affairs program dealing with the topic of crimes of sexual violence against minors, she does not so much as blink in the face of the opposing side's insulting remarks and instead delivers a sharp rebuke: "You do it too, don't you, Attorney? This kind of humiliation and intimidation — to victims, in the courtroom."
Even when the office is filled with funeral wreaths bearing phrases such as "A law firm specializing in raising 'gold diggers'" and "L&J that conceals the truth," she brushes it off without a second thought.
Holding the firm together, Kang Sin Jae, the "perfect CEO," is another pillar who keeps the law firm running. Even when she sees obscenities scrawled in red paint across her car's windshield, she is not flustered in the least; instead, she smiles with composure. Her line, "I go all the way, even when I'm holding a losing hand," reveals her ability to drive even a losing game according to her own rhythm.
Hwang Hyeon Jin is a "hot-blooded, action-oriented lawyer" with high-level martial arts skills, who jumps into the fight against injustice without hesitation.
The scenes where she charges forward for the truth, both inside and outside the courtroom, declaring her unwavering conviction to fight on regardless of what anyone says, betray her as a lawyer who won't budge, no matter the pressure.
As the teaser comes to a close, Yun Ra Yeong's voice rings out as she addresses female victims in crisis, "Reach out your hand. We will take it," — sending the message that to reclaim Honor, they will not let go of the victims' hands but stand in solidarity with them and fight a battle, no matter how fierce, in the courtroom together.
The production team stated, "Honor is a work that densely portrays the process of three female lawyers confronting a huge scandal head-on, with their own convictions and way," adding, "This character teaser video is the first glimpse of what faces they will show as they stand up to the world. Along with the interesting circumstances of the three characters that will unfold, we ask viewers to look forward to the close relationships and solidarity among Lee Na Young, Jung Eun Chae, and Lee Chung Ah."
Honor will be released on February 2. Stay tuned for OTT updates!
