Kim Ji Hoon confirmed as lead in new drama, Park Ju Hyun in talks to join
Actress Kim Tae Ri (Revenant, Twenty Five Twenty One, Mr. Sunshine) is in talks for a new drama.
On July 1, an industry insider told JTBC Entertainment, "Kim Tae Ri is expected to make her drama comeback with Sister, I Am the Queen in This Life [literal translation], which is set to be adapted into a drama."
Responding to the report, Management mmm announced that Kim Tae Ri has received an offer to star in the drama Sister, I Am the Queen in This Life and is currently considering it favorably as her potential next project.
According to the report, the project is expected to undergo pre-production in the second half of this year before beginning full-scale filming next year. If that proceeds as planned, it will mark Kim Tae Ri's first drama in three years.
The drama is based on the Naver webtoon of the same name. It tells the story of a woman who, after being abandoned by her fiancé, her older sister, and even her parents, travels back 15 years. The work raises expectations for the protagonist's exploits as she awakens, determined to take revenge on everyone and become queen.
The drama's broadcast schedule has yet to be decided.
