'My Royal Nemesis' wraps up at a personal best; while 'Reborn Rookie' holds steady
The cast of My Royal Nemesis has shared their thoughts ahead of the drama's finale.
My Royal Nemesis follows a notorious villainess from the Joseon era who finds herself in the body of an unknown actress, Shin Seo Ri (Im Ji Yeon), after being given poison, and Cha Se Gye (Heo Nam Jun), a ruthless chaebol.
Sharing her thoughts ahead of the finale, Im Ji Yeon said, "Playing the dual roles of a Joseon-era villainess who suddenly finds herself transported into the future overnight and Shin Seo Ri, a timid, unknown actress, was by no means easy. But I sincerely thank all the viewers who laughed and cried alongside us." She continued, "I hope Seo Ri will remain in your memories for a long time as a spirited and lovable character."

Heo Nam Jun shared, "I spent a wonderful time, receiving more love and support from viewers than I ever deserved. I was so happy that I wished this time would never come to an end." He added, "I sincerely thank you for enjoying My Royal Nemesis and for showing it so much interest. I hope you all stay healthy."

Jang Seung Jo delivered a witty farewell message, saying, "Thank you for waiting for My Royal Nemesis every week, for getting excited about Seo Ri and Se Gye's love story, and even for hating Moon Do so much."

My Royal Nemesis will air Episode 13 on June 19. The final episode will air on June 20. Stream the K-drama on Netflix.
