Netflix film 'Husbands in Action' confirms premiere date

The Netflix film Husbands in Action has unveiled a poster and teaser and confirmed its release for June 19.

Husbands in Action is an action-comedy that depicts the rescue operation of an ex-husband and a current husband, who reluctantly join forces to save a wife kidnapped by a criminal organization.

Jin Sun Kyu takes on the role of Choong Sik, a fiery detective who throws himself recklessly into every investigation — including the effort to save his ex-wife. Meanwhile, Gong Myoung plays Min Seok, a kind-hearted veterinarian and the current husband of Choong Sik's ex-wife, who is equally determined to rescue the woman he loves.

The poster shows ex-husband Choong Sik (Jin Sun Kyu) and current husband Min Seok (Gong Myoung) standing back-to-back as they face off against someone. 

The teaser captures Choong Sik and Min Seok's chaotic rescue mission after joining forces to save the kidnapped wife. The two men, who had been engaged in a petty battle of nerves over the family seating section at their daughter's contest, become entangled in the incident after receiving a phone call informing them that Shi Nae and their daughter have been kidnapped.

This was all part of a plan orchestrated by Hye Ran — Do Joon's wife and mastermind of the organization — in order to get back Do Joon, the head of a new drug ring whom Choong Sik had arrested. Forced into an unwanted partnership to save their family, Choong Sik and Min Seok constantly bicker while gradually learning to work in sync. On top of that, the situation becomes even more tangled as Yong Gang — the boss of the Yonggang gang seeking to reclaim his former glory — and Ara, a social affairs reporter, get caught up in the chaos as well.
