'Doctor X' Kim Ji Won unleashes savage remarks at corporate doctors in preview
The team behind Night Traveler, starring Park Bo Gum and Shin Ye Eun, has addressed reports regarding the production schedule and the possibility of the actors leaving the project.
On September 28, a representative from MI, the production company behind the upcoming K-drama Night Traveler, told Xportsnews, "It is not a case of production being canceled because the drama failed to secure a broadcast slot. There have been some changes during the production preparation process, so we are coordinating the production schedule."
Regarding whether Park Bo Gum and Shin Ye Eun would leave the project, the representative remained cautious, saying, "Nothing has been decided yet."
Night Traveler previously drew attention after announcing Park Bo Gum and Shin Ye Eun as its leads, with the two set to portray a romantic pairing. The drama is reportedly a new work by writer Night Traveler is the latest work by writer Yoon Ji Ryeon, who penned Boys over Flowers, Angel Eyes, and Move to Heaven.
Amid high fan anticipation, reports emerged that Night Traveler has faced production difficulties due to scheduling issues and that Park Bo Gum and Shin Ye Eun would consequently leave the project. In response, the production company clarified that it is currently coordinating the schedule.
Meanwhile, Park Bo Gum is set to appear on the tvN variety show The Village Barber Season 2, scheduled to air in November, and has the films The Sword: Rebirth of the Red Wolf and Canvas of Blood lined up as his next releases.
Shin Ye Eun recently returned to the small screen through ENA's Doctor on the Edge, which concluded in July. She will next be seen on the small screen in Snakes and Ladders.
