'Doctor X' Kim Ji Won unleashes savage remarks at corporate doctors in preview
The Remarried Empress has unveiled fresh stills.
The Remarried Empress tells the story of Empress Navier (Shin Min Ah), the perfect empress of the Eastern Empire, who is divorced by her husband, Emperor Sovieshu (Ju Ji Hoon) — who fell for Rashta (Lee Se Young) — and subsequently marries Prince Heinrey (Lee Jong Suk) of the Western Kingdom.
One still shows Navier and Sovieshu, who have spent many years together, affectionately embracing. The pic heightens curiosity about how their relationship will change after the new characters arrive.
Heinrey, the prince of the Western Kingdom, who had previously been the subject of numerous rumors, enters their lives. Having visited the imperial palace as part of a delegation for the New Year Festival, he respectfully kisses Navier's hand, drawing the attention of those around them.
After saving Rashta, who was in trouble at a hunting ground, Sovieshu becomes captivated by her dazzling charm. Rashta, who unexpectedly enters the imperial palace, also enjoys dreamlike days while receiving the Emperor's special attention.
The ballroom scene reveals the changed relationships between the four. Without caring about the attention of those around him, Sovieshu takes Rashta's hand instead of the Empress's. Meanwhile, Heinrey appears before Navier and extends his hand to her.
The Remarried Empress will premiere on Disney+ on November 4.
