Park Ji Hoon comes to move hearts with delicious food in 'The Legend of Kitchen Soldier'

The Legend of Kitchen Soldier has unveiled a teaser.

The Legend of Kitchen Soldier is a military comedy drama that tells the story of army cook Kang Sung Jae (Park Ji Hoon) — who wields a kitchen knife instead of a rifle and wears an apron instead of a bullet belt — as he rises to become a legend.

The teaser begins with Kang Sung Jae, a Republic of Korea Army soldier, heading to his assigned unit after completing basic training. Instead of burning himself out in devoted service as a Korean soldier, the reality is that his seniors look at him with doubtful, unconvinced eyes.

Before he can even settle into his unit, Kang Sung Jae is suddenly made a cook soldier over a single line: "I can cook ramyeon!" The moment he steps into the food storage, he is enveloped by a mysterious energy. As if possessed, he completes mouthwatering dishes with knife skills rivaling a fine-dining chef and bold wok technique, delivering a near-euphoric experience to his fellow soldiers.

Not only that, the moment he holds a knife, his gaze shines like that of a master craftsman. His exploits bring a fresh wind to Gangrim Outpost as well. As Kang Sung Jae says, "Delicious food made with sincerity has the power to move people's hearts," and mealtime is becoming a source of joy for all the soldiers. This raises curiosity about the secret technique that lies behind Private Kang Sung Jae's skillful touch, which boosts the troops' morale through good food.

Especially at the end of the video, along with Kang Sung Jae's brightly smiling face, an unfamiliar voiceover says, "Welcome, soldier," sparking intriguing curiosity about the identity of the voice warmly welcoming Private Kang Seong Jae.
