KBS2's upcoming K-drama Walking on Thin Ice has unveiled its second teaser, giving a sneak peek into the beginning of a dangerous partnership.
Walking on Thin Ice tells the story of Eun Su (Lee Young Ae), an ordinary housewife, who, struggling to cover the medical costs of her terminally ill husband, stumbles upon drugs worth hundreds of billions of won and steps into the world of crime to sell them.
The second teaser begins by showing the cracks that form in Eun Su's once-peaceful household due to an unforeseen incident. Her warm life, once filled with smiles, collapses in an instant under the weight of her husband’s worsening illness, financial ruin, and foreclosure notices plastered throughout the house.
In desperate need of a large sum of money, Eun Su stumbles upon a bag that leads her down a road of no return. There she encounters Lee Kyung (Kim Young Kwang) — an art instructor by day, and a drug dealer at a club working under the alias James by night — and the two go from being a parent and teacher to business partners.
Eun Su's resolve to risk everything, coupled with Lee Kyung's sharp retort — "Can you handle it?" — piques curiosity over what ruin awaits their partnership.
Eun Su’s desperation and determination as she steps into a forbidden lane for the sake of her family leave a lingering question: “How far will Eun Su go in pursuit of her good day?”
The production team of Walking on Thin Ice (Korean title: Eun Su’s Good Day) stated, “The second teaser vividly captures the awakening of Eun Su as she steps out of her ordinary life as a housewife into a forbidden world, as well as the tense moments of her dangerous partnership with teacher Lee Kyung. The changing relationship between Eun Su and Lee Kyung will deliver breath-stopping tension and immense immersion, so we ask for much anticipation.”
