Ryu Kyung Soo embarks on a new beginning as a farm owner in Our Unwritten Seoul.

Our Unwritten Seoul is a coming-of-age story of twin sisters who look the same but are opposite in every other way, switching lives in search of their real selves.

In the K-drama, Ryu Kyung Soo plays Han Se Jin, the owner of the Changhwa Farm in Dusoen-ri. He moved to Dusoen-ri two years ago to start a farm. Due to certain circumstances, he gave up his career and has since devoted himself to strawberry farming, surrounded by the scent of the earth.

Having only recently started farming, Han Se Jin is terrified even by the sight of a worm while working in the fields. However, with his cheeky personality, he manages to get along with everyone and is recognized as a part of the Dusoen-ri community. The mystery now remains as to why Han Se Jin moved to Dusoen-ri and who he really is.

In the stills, the daily routine of the farm owner Han Se Jin is captured. Contrary to what one might expect from a farmer, he is dressed in immaculate, dirt-free clothes as he walks around the village and fishes.

Talking about why he chose Our Unwritten Seoul, Ryu Kyung Soo said, "I thought the unique charm of the character and the theme of comfort woven throughout the script would be a source of comfort for me," and described Han Se Jin as an "eccentric character."

He continued, "Although he may appear soft and gentle on the outside, he is deep. While he seems lighthearted, he also carries a profound sense of loneliness and loss." To bring out this charm of Han Se Jin's character, he added, "I thought the moments when this character acts light and is talkative might stem from the deep loneliness and solitude within him. So, I focused on these aspects while acting."

Our Unwritten Seoul premieres on May 24. The K-drama will be available on Netflix.
