Before the year ends, Tae Won Seok will star in another K-drama.
On December 10, it was officially confirmed that actor Tae Won Seok will join the cast of the much anticipated K-drama Villains. His agency also confirmed the reports and stated, "Actor Tae Won Seok will join the cast of Villains. Please look forward to it and give the K-drama a lot of attention."
Villains will tell the bloody confrontations of villains over ultra-precise counterfeit supernotes.
The K-drama is the joint work of director Jin Hyeok (Sisyphus: The Myth, The Legend of the Blue Sea, and The Master's Sun) and writer Kim Hyung Joon (Daddy Long Legs and The Scent).
Yoo Ji Tae, Kwak Do Won, Lee Bum Soo, Lee Min Jung, Kim Jae Yong, Ryu Ji Won, and more will lead the upcoming K-drama.
Tae Won Seok will portray the role of Tak Joong Ki. He is the right hand mand of detective Jang Jung Hyeok (portrayed by Kwak Do Won) in the series. He is very loyal to his boss.
Villains will exclusively premiere on TVING on December 18. It will have a total of 8 episodes. The K-drama will possibly be launched through Disney+ as well, as TVING recently formed a strategic partnership with the global OTT platform.
This year, Tae Won Seok also starred in the hit K-drama Good Boy with Park Bo Gum, Kim So Hyun, Oh Jung Se, Lee Sang Yi, and Heo Sung Tae.
After Villains, Tae Won Seok will greet viewers next year with the upcoming K-drama The Judge Returns. He will work alongside Ji Sung, Park Hee Soon, Won Jin A, Baek Jin Hee, and Oh Se Young.
