tvN's Resident Playbook unveils stills giving a glimpse of actress Ra Mi Ran's special appearance in K-drama.
Premiering today (April 12), Hospital Playlist spinoff, Resident Playbook, is a drama about doctors working at Yulje Hospital, depicting the growth of residents who dream of becoming wise doctors as they navigate their struggles.
In the K-drama, Ra Mi Ran's character shares a relationship with Oh Yi Young (Go Youn Jung), a second-year resident in the obstetrics and gynecology department at Yulje Hospital in Jongno, who has a simple wish to get through each day without mishaps. Lacking experience in both social life and work, she struggles under the pressure of senior colleagues and professors.
In the newly released stills, first-year resident Oh Yi Young is seen with a tense expression as she tends to a patient rushed into the ER, just another day at Yulje Hospital. Examining a patient, Professor (Ra Mi Ran) nudges the frozen Oh Yi Young to snap her out of it, piquing curiosity about what led her to go blank.
With The Good Bad Mother Ra Mi Ran leading the way, curiosity is also growing around the lineup of cameos coming to enrich the story of Resident Playbook.
Resident Playbook is set to premiere on April 12. The K-drama will be available to stream on Netflix.
