'When the Phone Rings' actress Han Jae Yi to make a special appearance in 'In Your Radiant Season'

Actress Han Jae Yi will be making a special appearance in MBC's Friday-Saturday drama In Your Radiant Season.

In Your Radiant Season tells the story of Chan (Chae Jong Hyeop), a man who lives each day as if it were an exciting summer vacation, and Ran (Lee Sung Kyung), a woman who has locked herself away in a wintry life. 

In the drama, Han Jae Yi appears as Eun Chan, Kang Hyuk Chan's (Kwon Do Hyung) sister. Eun Chan is a character who quietly watches over the time of those left behind after her younger brother Hyuk Chan's death. She lives on carrying both her deep affection for her brother and the relationships and memories he left behind. In particular, Eun Chan is set to appear while holding on to stories from the past surrounding her brother, further deepening the emotions and narrative entwined among the characters and heightening viewers' immersion in the drama.

Actress Han Jae Yi has built a reputation for strong character immersion, consistently leaving a lasting impression regardless of screen time. In projects such as When the Phone Rings and Good Partner, she demonstrated her ability to fully inhabit diverse roles, balancing intensity with nuance and drawing viewers into each character's emotional journey.

In Your Radiant Season is a weekend MBC drama that started off with 4.4% viewership, which remains its highest so far. The K-drama has maintained ratings in the 2-3% range, with the recent episode dropping to 2.8%. However, the melodrama is trending on Disney+ in Hong Kong, Japan, South Korea, and Taiwan; and on Wavve in South Korea. 

Episode 8 of In Your Radiant Season will air on March 20. The K-drama is streaming on Disney+ and Hulu.
