Red Velvet's Ye Ri will reportedly join Song Kang Ho's new K-drama 'Insiders'
Actor Yoon Jung Hoon's first official K-drama project for the year will be The First Night with the Duke.
On May 30, it was officially confirmed that Yoon Jung Hoon will be added to the cast of the upcoming K-drama The First Night with the Duke.
This will be his follow-up K-drama project after the 2024 series Nothing Uncovered with Kim Ha Neul, Yeon Woo Jin, Jang Seung Jo, Jung Woong In, Yoon Je Moon, and Han Chae Ah.
This year, Yoon Jung Hoon made a cameo appearance in the series Hyper Knife. The series was led by Park Eun Bin, Sul Kyung Gu, Park Byung Eun, Yoon Chan Young, Kang Ji Eun, and Lee Jung Sic.
Yoon Jung Hoon is best known for being one of the cast of the hit series Weak Hero Class 1.
The actor started his acting career in 2016. He was part of the cast of the K-dramas The Impossible Heir, Castaway Diva, Kiss Sixth Sense, The Great Shaman Ga Doo Shim, At a Distance, Spring Is Green, Private Lives, and more.
The First Night with the Duke will tell the story of an ordinary young woman unexpectedly cast into the role of a minor character in a novel. While being possessed as the minor character, she then spends one night with the lead male character in the novel. Following a shared intimacy, a passionate romantic relationship develops between the leads. The K-drama is a fantasy romance set in the Joseon Dynasty. The story will be depicted from the web novel/webtoon of the same name by Hwang Do Tol.
The upcoming K-drama will be the joint work of director Lee Woong Hee and writer Jeon Seon Young.
Yoon Jung Hoon will work with main leads Seo Hyun, Ok Taec Yeon, Kwon Han Sol, Seo Bum June, Ji Hye Won, and Oh Se Eun in the K-drama.
He will play the role of Cha Se Ho, the third brother of Seo Hyun's character Cha Seon Chaek. He is affectionate with her sister despite her wild character.
The First Night with the Duke will air its first episode on June 11 at 9:50 PM KST.
