One of the trio of best friends who have been close to Min Ju and Tae Yun since their high school days, Ae Gyeong is a divorcee who has made a glamorous comeback, moving from Seongbuk-dong to Cheongdam-dong.

Her doctor husband, whom she had married so she would have someone to lean on in her old age, betrayed her in the worst possible way. The doctor she thought would be her lifelong security blanket had an affair with a young nurse.

Instead of grabbing the nurse by the hair, Ae Gyeong chose a hefty settlement. She’s a cool woman, after all. She has no patience for messy, drawn-out drama.

Determined to finally indulge in the sports she has always loved, she poured her savings and divorce settlement into opening a sports center in Gangnam. There isn’t a workout she hasn’t tried, from yoga, pole dancing, Pilates, and weight training to countless diets she has put herself through.

Because for a divorced woman over forty trying to make her way through this rough world, a toned figure and a firm, youthful-looking face are her calling card.

But she does have one Achilles’ heel: loneliness, which comes knocking at all hours. When it gets particularly bad, it can even develop into depressive symptoms.

She has no intention of getting married again, and romance seems to be the only thing that can cure her bouts of depression. Proudly declaring that while menopause may put an end to her periods, it will never put her sex life into a recession, she keeps herself busy day and night, working out and dating in equal measure.
