Fictional Character

“I’m going to become an EXO fan starting today. Dad, you don’t understand why I’m so obsessed with them, do you?”

A terrifying second-year middle schooler, the kind who could single-handedly keep South Korea from going to war. Tall and pretty, she may not look like the studious type, but she possesses a surprising side to her: fluent English skills and top-tier grades that never slip.

Once she gets interested in something, she has to dive into it headfirst and see it through to the end. She is an experiential learner who has to try things for herself before she is satisfied. Recently, she unexpectedly became a devoted fan of an idol group she had never cared about before, and is now completely captivated by dance and music.

Adults are always asking her what she wants to be when she grows up and what her future dream is. But this audacious girl has a mind of her own and a clear philosophy: isn’t how you live your life more important than what you become?

Even so, she and her dad, Sang Sik, are finding it increasingly difficult to communicate. She is hurt that he doesn’t trust her and feels it is unfair that he still treats her like a little girl.

She is also a bold, outspoken daughter who worries about her widowed father. She even insists that he should get married because she thinks she needs a mother, and tells him not to feel intimidated in front of women he meets on blind dates simply because he is a single dad.
