With her perpetually disheveled hair, as though she has just woken up, and her distinctive fashion that reflects her own unique world, she is always seen carrying a comic book in one hand and her phone in the other.

A self-proclaimed artist who embraces both analog and digital sensibilities, but when you get right down to it, she’s simply unemployed.

An eccentric, quirky woman with little interest in designer handbags, highly accomplished men, or glamorous careers, she is currently serializing a webtoon on an amateur webtoon platform. However, even her own family has never actually read it.

In fact, most people in the world have never heard of her webtoon. She has been an unknown, struggling webtoon artist for five years.

Apparently, while their parents were busy running the bakery, her older brother Sang Sik changed little Mi Rye’s dirty diapers and carried her around on his back, practically raising her. She doesn’t really remember any of it, though. She’ll concede one thing: her brother’s back was warm!

She and Jun U have been inseparable since their snot-nosed elementary school days. They’ve grown so close over the years that they can tell just by looking at each other whether the other is craving jajangmyeon or jjamppong.

However, after a woman living alone moves in next door, both Sang Sik and Jun U start acting a little suspicious. Mi Rye initially thinks it has nothing to do with her, only to discover that Kang Min Ju, the woman next door, will have a profound impact on her life as well.
