Park Cheon Su

Fictional Character

“How should I live my life... What should I place value on?”

He is a math teacher of Sang Sik’s daughter, Ye Ji. Although he teaches mathematics at a middle school, these days he is suffering from a case of male menopause that is every bit as bad as teenage puberty, leaving him on an emotional roller coaster.

On the verge of turning fifty, he finds himself confronted with the questions, “What is life, after all?” and “Who am I?” His life now feels unbearably dull and suffocating. He has spent all these years doing his best to provide for his wife and child, yet strangely, his heart feels cold and hollow, as though a nuclear missile had passed straight through it.

He needs someone to soothe this emptiness inside him. But his wife, Sang Hui, is no longer the woman he thought he knew. The wife he once thought was a harmless little rabbit has gradually turned into a wildcat. He thought she was a herbivore, but it turns out she is a carnivore. As someone once said, “The moment a man and woman start sharing the same rice cooker, they stop talking to each other!”

Please, just leave me alone for a while and let this fragile herbivore man be.
