Monster HuntLoved the fantasy world and the setting, plus the premise was fun. Characters were honestly so hilarious. I especially loved the baby-obsessed noblewoman xD Main couple were cute and their dynamic + the kid was adorable. Overall a cute watch but nothing special.

【✓】Heartwarming and LOVELY!!! Such a good take on RR with the actual height difference, augh. I loved how they approached serious topics through a fairly lighthearted lens and showed the difficulties of gender roles. That dance scene at the end between the two leads where they switched the roles??? 10000/10!!!! Will definitely go back and watch that again

Hiyama Kentaro no NinshinSo good! Bold, interesting, and heartwarming. I honestly wasn't expecting to love it as much as I did. I really liked the perspective and the underlying themes regarding other social issues (inclusivity, rejecting gender roles, rejecting labels, etc). Very daring choice and honestly so lovely executed!

Shufu MaisonFinally got around to watching this and it was as adorable as I was hoping for! Definitely would've loved if it were longer. Even 4-5 hours would've been fantastic but I loved it regardless. It's a simple and fluffy watch with some interesting messages.

Wake up to Fantasy

Messy plot with a needless amount of back-and-forth between what's really going on with FL's identity which is just overly convoluted in a minidrama. I still somehow liked the ending despite the lack of clarity about the relationship. The rr was present but not as much as I would've liked.

Eternal BrotherhoodStarted out very strong but after the midway point became exceptionally tedious. Not as much brotherhood as I had hoped (though what was there was endearing), excruciatingly long war strategies, mediocre music, draggy love plots, pointless side characters, lackluster attention to female characters, open-ending (yeah, ik there'll be a 'season' 2 but still), and tonal whiplash (from extremely dark to cringe comedy). The setting however was very cool, quite refreshing for historical fantasy cdramas, SML was awesome, loved his character and his dynamic with his wife (<33).

BlindI think the gap between when I started it and when I finished it says a lot. I thought about dropping this one OFTEN but ultimately finished it because I wanted to watch something and didn't feel like starting something new. The drama is alright all around. Sure it was issues but it's fine. That being said, it is terribly slow. The last couple of episodes with the plot twists were interesting but everything else was kinda boring ngl. The drama also feels righteous and overall just kinda meh when it comes to what it was actually portraying. In the end, there's very little wrap up for what actually happened and for those involved, and it honestly lowkey felt like the whole drama was entirely pointless :/

Big MouthThoroughly thrilling. The characters and dynamics were a highlight. Loved ML's character development and how everything unfolded. The ending was a bit lackluster though, antagonists won until the last 5 minutes, why bother. FL dying of sudden disease was good plot-twist but I wasn't feeling it. On me, though. Loved the main theme!

HappinessWay longer than it should've been but overall serviceable. I liked the two leads and especially their power couple dynamic. I also liked that certain themes reminded me of Bioshock. The OST was also pretty neat. Overall, an okay watch but it should've been a movie.

The EmbersA gripping story of morality, trauma, vengeance, justice, and family. A standout drama that does a lot of new and unexpected things. The plot is tight and though not without issues and maybe not the most satisfying in the end, it's riddled with plot-twists and bold and unusual choices. Heavy but heartfelt and ultimately bittersweet.

My SO Has Got DepressionIt was so refreshing to see a genuine portrayal of mental illness, showing the downs in a simple, raw manner but also the healing process, support, and ultimately happy ending so often lacking. The subject matter is pretty heavy and the movie addresses it well. It's genuine, respectful, and understanding of even the more taboo and less talked about symptoms of depression so genuinely kudos for that. Also the absolute couple goals that the lead couple are- Absolutely adorable.

Flaming CloudA heartfelt and melancholic fairytale. The aesthetics and overall feel of the movie was incredible. It reminded me a lot of those classic fairytales from ye olden days but with a modern twist. Nearing the end, though, it kinda switches gears and becomes a bit messy with a rather underwhelming conclusion but overall, I would still recommend and I'm glad I finally got around to watching it.

Nothing but YouThis was honestly way too long for the story it had to tell. There's a lot to dislike about this drama but it ultimately boils down to the stakes being low. Things get resolved very easily or we don't see the struggle. There are also far too many supporting characters that do very little. The main romance was okay, the chemistry was good. I loved ML's stepfather, easily the best thing about the drama.

An Ancient Love Song
A unique one-of-a-kind experience. I'm so glad I didn't put this off because of the ending. Especially the last couple of episodes started to really move me. I still have some unanswered questions, and some details were unfortunate, which is the only reason I couldn't give it a 10/10, but it's a solid 9.8/10. Definitely one of the best dramas out there despite the small budget and runtime. What a great concept masterfully executed.

Mad DoctorFunny, intense, and realistic. Medical dramas aren't my scene at all so I'm not really sure why I even started this one but it was a fun and quirky watch. Quite unlike other dramas with a toxic and traumatized FL, graphic surgery scenes, and realistic stories. The flip from humour to said stories can be a bit much.

Flex X CopA drama that doesn't meander. The cases are fresh and interesting, the comedy is actually quirky and well-fitted given the genre, the characters are endearing and you want to root for them, the cinematography and quality are actually so pretty, the music is fitting, etc. It's just all around such a well-made drama that stands out from other k-thrillers with its unique premise and quirky execution. Never a boring moment.

RememberNothing extraordinary but a well-crafted action/thriller with an unlikely duo and a surprising amount of emotional depth. The action aspect was fairly lowkey as is expected with an elderly ML and the other who cannot fight but still, it was exciting. The OST was also very nice and the characterization was endearing and rewarding. Those plot twists at the end were either surprising or poetic and well presented so kudos!

Summer StrikeTwo years later and it didn't get quite as bad as I thought it would but far from great either. My main reason for dropping it where the themes and yeah, those remain but less bad than I thought. Overall, I liked the ML and was curious about his story. Deep Love Love AgainThis wasn't a great revenge story. The plot is messy and confusing, jumping around like crazy. The violence (especially towards women) is extreme so be warned. The positives are that it's shot beautifully, the actors killed it, and it had a good OST. 

I would've probably hated it way more if I didn't ff through it. The ending scene made it worth it.

Secret of Three KingdomsDefinitely struggled a bit with this one upon a rewatch. Enjoyed a lot of it like the first time but the drag dragged, my family's commentary swayed enjoyment and the ending especially was hard to get through.

Taxi DriverOne of the biggest disappointments of the year. This one was highly recommended, and with season 3 coming soon, I was expecting a solid enough watch, but it just proved my general dislike of very popular dramas. Characters more shallow than a sidewalk puddle, bland and predictable cases, surprisingly little car-action, and very underwhelming 'revenge'. This first arc was good, and the second and third ones were okay and meh, respectively, but most of the drama was borderline unwatchable

Kill My Sinsfemale-focusedWell-crafted mystery thriller with endearing characters and a heartfelt story. Though it wasn't without its issues, I honestly loved pretty much everything about it. The characters and how it was female focused and female led with strong women across the board, the setting being during Wu Zetian's reign, the stellar OST, the beautiful shots, the atypical setting, and the fact that ML and FL were commoners! Nagatan to Aoto: Ichika no RyourijouA simple slice-of-life drama with an endearing unconventional romance and a feminist message. It was a very down-to-earth experience about two unlikely people finding themselves in an arranged marriage. I wish it would've been longer so we got to see more of the leads' together and also their personal lives. The romance left a bit to be desired too. That being said, it was a bit too... idk, camp ig? But in an odd way- Maybe just not my flavor. Also, don't appreciate the ambiguous ending.
