So, I only watched about two episodes of the drama, so I did my best to recall them while making the ML's board. I barely remember the other characters, so I took fashion cues from you while leaning into, well, slutty. And what I could possibly get away with. I'm pleasantly surprised at some of the "straddling the censorship line" outfits I found that still show something. The makeup's just for fun since I know none of it would pass censorship.

It takes a far more realistic approach to the matriarchy that's less "omgggg, what if- what if 👀 it was the BOYS wearing skirts and being coquettish 😁 and the GIRLS were the cool ones 😎 teeheeehee so funny and quirky!" and goes more along the lines of "the horrors of womanhood" 😭 Like He's Expecting but darker. So a pretty drastic leap from TRoTaR to this 😂 I feel if I tell you what it tackles you'll not wanna watch it, ahah

You know what, yeah, I'll give you the Clean Boy look. I think that would pass censorship since it's under the "no-makeup makeup" umbrella, and essentially what the actual actors are rockin'. I've never seen any of the others in a contemp though.

Thanks! I had the most fun with his color palette. I chose stuff like the blue t-shirt, the ripped black jeans, and both yellow sweaters for his "I'm new here" outfits, and graduated to the crop tops and plunging necklines as he got more comfortable.

Yeah...ever since they managed to fumble Ms. Incognito, I'm wary of K-dramas with bodyguard FLs which is tragic because it's one of my favorite RR dynamics. I'm always looking for it.
I was disappointed a year or two ago by a book featuring another bodyguard FL, and I just heard it was getting a live action adaptation.
What could've been a fun, but solid RR ended up barely being egal. I don't know how Ms. Katherine Center accomplished that. Maybe I should've judged the book by its cartoon cover, but I've read a good RR-leaning book with a cartoon cover, so idk.
Anyway, I hope Love in Disguise will actually offer up something different. Im Si Wan isn't afraid of a quirky project.
I would never say this anywhere else on this site but here, but I don't like Kim Seon Ho as an actor. His projects are usually auto-skips for me, and Suzy is very hit or miss. I also feel like she barely has chemistry with anyone. It's weird. She starred in Start Up with Kim Seon Ho, and even though he was the second lead, I don't remember them having any chemistry despite their intertwining backstories being cute. I'm only compelled to give this a shot because it's kind of giving tame Alluring Night meets The Picture of Dorian Gray, and seems RR.
Edit: Not me immediately seeing a spoiler about it after posting this that makes me think it isn't even gonna be RR 😂
