It's funny how each drama strikes people so differently! I dropped Back from the Brink after 5 eps, lol.

Lol so true, sometimes we like the same dramas and at other times we have different opinions, but that is fine. Let's see what I will think after 5 episodes of Back from the Brink 😄.

I liked them both! 😅 What can I say Back from the Brink is in my favorites list as well as BOP, but I have a thing for rebirth and transmigration so the biases is hard there.

Yes, I enjoy the diversity of thought! I do hope you enjoy BFTB!!

I also dropped Back from the Brink (what a coincidence) at episode 5. Beside what happened on episode 1, I no longer remember the plot.

I completed https://kisskh.at/28744-likhit-haeng-jan. It's really fun and the plot is interesting. Only the episode length a bit disturbing (1 hour 30 minutes to 1 hour 40 minutes times 14 episodes). The first Thai historical drama I completed. To be exact it's a time travel drama where two women with the same face but different personalities from two different era switched places through a painting. The woman from modern era (Opal) was a police, brave and straightforward. The woman from the past (Duengkaw) was an aristocrat daughter, sweet and timid. MLs were a palace doctor and a police. And it has happy ending.

I'm also still watching The East Palace episode 4 and Gochisousan episode 29 (though I'm unable to find episode 9 and episode 25, if someone happened to see one, please share the links). And today https://kisskh.at/692399-the-mystic-nine-2 with William Chan and Zeng Shun Xi premieres. Can't wait!

"Mystic Nine" looks interesting! Thanks for the recommendation!

Oh wheee! Those are long eps! The story does seem interesting. I've never watched a Thai drama except for BLs. I've tried a few times but they are just too melodramatic for my taste. Maybe this one will be different...

I think I also never finish Thai BL historical drama where the leads wearing traditional thai clothes as far as I remember. Yeah, I think I haven't finish any. If they're wearing chinese/western clothing like in To Sir, With Love or I Feel You Linger in the Air, I did finish a few titles, straight romance or BL.

Melodramatic, I think yes, I usually watched Thai dramas because they're quite over the top, some of them, not all. They usually making my blood boils, and I love it. But Likit Haeng Jan is more tame and leans more towards comedy with some conflicts (antique/painting smuggling, corruption and mass killing) threatening the nation/kingdom and some romance as the msg.

Sounds like it worth a try! I added it to my PTW list. 😊
