Guys what do you think about dramas that have an Uncut version? Should I just watch the uncut one and add both cut and uncut titles to my completed list or add only the uncut one? I don't think it's fair to add both though, because it's not like I've seen both. Cue series like The Heart Killers and Cooking Crush here.

I add both because I always watch the uncut version which is supposed to include extra scenes, NC or otherwise. Therefore if I watch the uncut I have watched the cut because it is the cut in its unfiltered state, so there is nothing in the uncut that is not in the cut. Hence I have essentially watched both.

Same for KBLs that have movie versions. I will look to see if the movie has any extra scenes added, but if not then I mark both as complete with the same rating because if I have watched one then I have watched the other; it is the exact same thing, one just does not have breaks.

 Indie Art Girl:
Oh and another point about rating support - Does everyone know about rating each episode in the series, which can boost the rating a bit as well?

No, I do not normally do this. That episode would have to really be impressive to me for me to rate it individually. I like the finality in me rating a series as a whole at the end.

"Secrets I have held in my heart
Are harder to hide than I thought
Maybe I just wanna be yours
I wanna be yours, I wanna be yours"

This is the mood I am in this afternoon, so does anyone have any BL recommendations that give off this vibe?

Well, Seung Won in Heesu in Class 2 has a secret love. I'm enjoying this drama quite a bit.

I have 0 recs (that you haven't already watched. Let me think about it for a bit!) But I love the request!

 Indie Art Girl:
Hellooooooo BL friends around the world.

I've been wondering how some of our BL friends are doing that haven't posted in a while!

No pressure, just asking about you and hoping all is well! 😊

Spilling some (BL & non BL-related) Ts:

  • I've had the worse sleep on this month-long vacation, max 4 hours at a time, and maybe a 2-hour nap if I'm lucky. But I get to watch:
  • My trip to Manila was so much fun. I enjoyed seeing my childhood friends (from 4th-6th grades). I also traveled to Bohol and did some snorkeling: corals were vibrant, water was 82-84 F, fish everywhere.
  • Kuala Lumpur:
    • The international school reunion was fun. I have avoided dance clubs and shopping for decades but was roped into both by friends, both old and new. It was exhausting and my old knees were complaining.
    • I went rock climbing yesterday and injured my left knee. There were a distinct pop, but I continued to climb that route and another after that. It was only after I realized that walking was very painful that I stopped.
    • I'm looking forward to seeing more friends from the second international school I attended. Those get-togethers start today.
  • Singapore to see two more friends on the 26th and 27th, then home on the 28th. Looking forward to being in my own bed.

Haha, this is me at home oftentimes! My not-so-lucky secret to watching as many BLs as I do.

I was wondering how your trip was going. Sounds nice except for the knee, dang! I hope it won't cause trouble on the loooooong plane ride back.

Such a good feeling at the end of a long trip. 😆

How r u liking Biz as Usual?

Currently airing:

  • Heesu in Class 2  Kim Seung Won wants to be Hee Su's but Hee Su's heart is with Ju Chan Yeong who likes Choi Ji Yu.
  • Business as Usual  Popular Chae Jin Hwan falls in love for the first time and just wants to be Kim Min Jun's, but after they get together, Min Jun disappears from Jin Hwan's life. It takes him 8 years to find him again.
  • Something's Not Right Do Ba U has an unrequited love for his childhood friend/best friend, Ji Hun, who is as clueless as can be. When Do Ba U can no longer handle his feelings, he breaks off his friendship with Ji Hun, who continues to hassle Ba U. I'm really enjoying this. The dialogue and interactions remind me of good American sitcoms.

Loving it. There's a scene that's  replayed twice and it's different from each other - kind of an actual vs how Min Jun remembers it. I'm looking forward to them dissecting how their huge misunderstanding happened.

Most recently I watched Eien no Kinou Complete Edition and it's technically the uncut version. I didn't add Eien no Kino cut version to my completed list. Should I add it?

I only add the version I actually watched. Unless I have watched both, I really don't know what's been deleted so my rating would likely have changed for the cut version. An example would be Our Dating Sim. I had mention doing a rewatch but this time, I would rewatch the movie version, and someone commented that the movie version did away with the high school flashbacks which appeared after the credits. I personally loved those, so I would've been very disappointed not seeing them. That would have resulted in a less than stellar watching experience for me and a lower rating.

A more extreme example is The Untamed which has a special 20 episode edition. I tried watching the shorter one for a rewatch and I gave up. It just didn't feel the same, so  I re-watched the original which I love.

For any of my fellow guys in here that liked Gawin's knit tank top in the last My Golden Blood episode, here it is if you want to get one. Even though it's made for guys, it seems kinda unisex, so I'd imagine anyone could wear it if they like it.
