I tried searching by release dates in the Upcoming Dramas section, but I keep getting: “There were no results matching the query.” 😩 Is there another way to search?Ju Moon:
Under SEARCH, I changed three parameters:
- Themes/Tags = Gay Male Lead
- Release Date: you can limit this if you think trying to watch much earlier shows would be difficult (eg. hard to find subbed versions)
- Sort by = Release Date
From the results, I chose one show from the ranges provided (Before 2005, Between 2005-2010, Between 2011-2015, Between 2016-2020, Between 2021-2024) that seemed interesting.
I'm really curious about the blazer colors. I thought they were meant to show school year differences, but apparently not? Maybe it's a status thing?
(re "Takumi-kun") I've been wondering, too. I read a post claiming that light blue is for the main characters, dark blue for side characters. That seems odd to me, but maybe it's carried over from the original manga (?), i.e. a device to help readers sort out the many characters. Let me know if you find out more.
I watched the first episode for a third time, and now I've got all the characters mapped in my mind. Ready for Sunday's episode 2!

I'm generally not a patient person, nor do I have a good attention span. Yes, I'm analytical by nature, but it's more about making an initial investment of time and effort to get myself up to speed and emotionally invested so that I can enjoy the rest of the series.
Thus, I often re-watch first episodes, especially when there's an initial deluge of characters (e.g. the first episode of "My Stubborn") or a complex storyline. And I'm easily influenced by cuties, so if the first episode has cuties that tickle my fancy, that makes it much easier for me to re-watch. In the case of "Takumi-kun", it also helps that the episodes are short, so it was pretty easy to watch the first episode three times.

I need fluffy comfort right now, so I've decide to re-re-watch "2gether" and am already at the end of episode 4. Whoosh!
As with many fluffy comfort BLs, I actually like it more now than the first time I watched it, as I know what to expect and can better appreciate the strengths while overlooking the weaknesses.
Yes it is very emotionally taxing. It has triggers and some scenes will cut deep. You definitely have to be in the right mental space for it.RXinw:

I’m the Most Beautiful Count eps 7-8
This series is so unserious. I swear, Prince is something else. To practice a dance routine in the middle of ancient ruins, with the king and others as his backup dancers? Only he could manage. I also love the way he’s having a whole conversation all by himself 🤣
I’m enjoying the love triangle so far. It seems like Prince has made his choice, but Banjong is not discouraged. I wonder if Woradech is going to come back or if he’s dead dead. His return would change this love triangle a lot.
Oh shoot, that was an unforgettable night indeed 😱 They were in the forest busy igniting the love fire by rubbing their sticks together (iykwim), while the whole village got massacred by Somdet’s soldiers. Now they’ve got even more reasons to fight (avenge those poor villagers!)
What in the MMORPG kind of strategy is this? I don’t know if it’s going to work, but I love Prince anyway 😁
Khemjira eps 6-7
I’m so used to much scarier stuff, that this series doesn’t seem like a horror at all, but I don’t mind. I’m enjoying it nonetheless.
Each episode we’re learning something new. I honestly thought there’s bad blood between Ramphueng and Khem because of some man, but it seems their story is more complicated than that. I still hope it was some misunderstanding or there were exceptional circumstances, because if Krongkwan really is guilty…
Last episode was educational. I’ve never heard about Holy Man’s Rebellion before. They don’t really teach this at History classes. I’m obviously more familiar with European history than with what happened in Asia, but I’m always happy to learn something new. I’m also learning a lot about shamanism, since it’s not something present in my culture (not nowadays).
Second couple is stealing the limelight. The fact that they too are connected since their past lives… I want to know more about them, hopefully we’ll learn some new information in the next episode.
I liked their NC scene. I expected nothing less from Tle and Firstone, since it's not their first time. Their chemistry is great, their Songkran moments live rent-free in my head 🤭
I can’t wait for the next episode 😃
Doctor’s Mine eps 9-10
In the last two episodes the main couple tried hard to surpass the second couple, but they failed (imho). They were lovey-dovey and things were going smoothly for them. The only obstacle in their relationship was that SA that did not happen. That was such a scam. Honestly, what was that scene at the end of ep5? They made it look like a memory, but it turned out to be just an imagination?
The second couple carried this series. They started strong and they finished strong. I’ve thought Per’s mum would be the biggest obstacle, but I didn’t anticipate that Mayo’s got a screw loose. His actions surprised me, but at least now Kan has fully realised just how much Per means to him. I’m glad Per and his mum had a good conversation and we’ve got our happy ending 🥰
It’s great that they’ve finally explained their family situation, because I was ready to believe their father had two wives (polygamy) 😮
Third couple was licking ice cream, while they should have been licking each other. Their storyline was so sparse, it wouldn’t make much difference if it wasn’t there at all.
I’m not sure if GL couple was even a couple.
All in all, it wasn’t so bad 😉
Love Sea JPN ep 8
I love Ai and his attitude. Nishime Shun does a great job at portraying him. I also love Mina, she’s adorable. I hope she’ll help her uncle find his happiness. She clearly sees Kaishin as his future husband.
Cousin’s plan backfired, but she’s not giving up. Now the evil ones have joined hands. I can’t wait for their schemes 😈
