My Romance Scammer  EP 2

Tim & Yu are in trouble with those 2 cuties, Pai & North! It's going to be fun watching how their scheming plays out.

just finished 180 degree longitude passes through us............

the tags said the ending was "ambiguous".... IDK GIRL I DID NOT FIND THAT VERY AMBIGUOUS. TF.

lol fr tho very good show... the writing was just a little bit clumsy at times imo but that certainly did not stop it from absolutely hitting home. if anyone needs me i'll be curled in a ball rewatching thamepo again 🙂

that hurt my feelings. 9/10 stars

Despite the excessive number of series I'm already watching, I've decided to start on "Boy Next World: My Destiny" (Gaga) - most of all because I'm curious (1) to see how Nagumo Shoma and Hamaya Takuto compare to Boss & Noeul (who are, of course, incomparable!), and (2) because I rather liked this handsome-stud-plus-cutie-patootie pairing in the Japanese remake of "Love Sea" and am curious to see how I feel about them in these different roles.

I have to give these actors credit: following in the steps first of Fort/Peat and now of Boss/Noeul is quite a challenge!

ETA: As I now watch the first episode, I can see how knowing what to expect (from the Thai original) will help me to enjoy it more without worrying about strugglling to understand the messy story.

I am not impressed so far with this adaptation. The pacing isn’t quite right and the story feels choppy to me. But this couple is still wonderful! Shoma is great as stoic and overprotective (and sexy as hell) and Takuto is even cuter in this than in the Love in the Air: Koi No Yokan (not Love Sea) adaptation. I think I’d watch Shoma in anything but it’s even better when he’s paired with Takuto.

i don’t think they can compare to Boss/Nouel (who are incomparable) but Shoma and Takuto have their own wonderful charm.

Thundercloud Rainstorm - finale

6/10

The last three episodes failed to hold my interest. The first half of the series makes for a good watch though.

I find myself just randomly thinking of the lonely whale that can't communicate with other whales and i feel so sad. 180 degree longitude hit so hard and i think it was really well acted even though like you said, it was a little clumsy at times

I tried to watch this series once...tried the first few eps anyways, lol. I didn't understand some of it (I keep saying that a lot these days) and it was really slooooooow. The deal-breaker was I learned what kind of ending I was in for.

I def got "Indie" vibes though!

What especially impressed me (as a Thai BL) is that it was serious drama with intelligent dialogue (rather like a stage play) and (most astonishingly) zero product placements.

I enjoyed it even if it was a bit heavy sometimes it's nice to watch  sometimes something else than comedy. I think it was with this that I discover Pond Ponlawit (and he was gorgeous in it).

Just watched it now. As with the other BLs from GND that I've seen, it's a low-budget indie (I don't mean this in a bad way!) and a decent short watch.

Added bonus: I think Lee Sang Min (also from the Korean remake of "Why R U?") is a cutie-patootie.

Only Friends: Dream On trailer. Coming Feb 27. Quite the cast!
