Dee Hup House has done some decent BLs (such as recently "Knock out"), so I'm optimistic about the quality. In addition to this one, they have several other interesting BLs in their pipeline: "Don’t Be Too Emotional" (below) as well as three mini-series ("Love Truck", "Screen Together" and "Influ-Lover"), which I'm guessing will be verticals (?).

i saw this earlier today TT-TT i was really looking forward to seeing him in akina. but more importantly i just hope he's doing okay. i think i remember him posting a story at a mental health clinic or something a little while back so hopefully he's getting the help and support he needs. everything that's gone on with both him and smart has just been so sad to watch
Yeah T-T...especially with how long Boom was in the industry before his breakout role in Topform. I just hope he is okay and don´t get discouraged with acting.
Add this to the first Topform thing (Smart leaving) and with Smarts most recent statement about him leaving Topform, about him having to take care of himself and whats best for him....It really seems like there is something going on behind the scenes

(re Boom/Headliner) Agree. If it were a health issue (physical or mental), I would think the announcement would give at least a hint of this. I smell something messy and ugly.
Yeah, usually if an actor have to leave a project because of their health they usually announce it. Even if they don´t state explicitly why, they normaly say something like "to under go surgery/heal form 'blank' injury" or "to take care on their mental health".
The fact that they didn´t, if that is the reason, is weird. I really hope that it´s just a comunication thing with the fans but added with everything else I don´t think it is. It really seems like something shady....

I've started khemjira. I've only watched the first 1½ episodes and I'm already considering dropping it.
Khemjira is by far a favourite for BL watchers but hiding the master's identity in the first episode was so not needed.
I'm not invested in what will happen to anyone. Khem at least is sweet and caring and the pace is generally slow slow that I was doing research for a book that I will be writing in the new future.
The pacing should be that I don't want to do anything else while watching it as I'm not engaged. The pacing is delicate as it should be fast enough to engage me but slow enough where I can understand everyone's role. It has a solid plot line as well

That's what got me to watch Khemjira, lol. Even though it didn't work out for me, I still have FOMO at times. Like lately I've been eyeing To My Shore. Only cuz when it first came out I was excited and attached to watching it, but then as the story was revealed I didn't think it was for me. But the good rating combined with everyone's comments make me want to at least check it out.
I wasn't going to say anything though. I hate to always be posting that I have to drop another drama or admit the content was difficult to watch. I think it makes me sound really negative.
200 dramas in one year is a lot! I often prioritize by interest in the story or rating. When it's time to pick a new drama to watch I'll sort by rating and see which one at the top attracts me. That way if I die tomorrow I'll at least have been watching one of the better dramas before I go. 😁😂🤣
I just checked and I have 155 PTW titles.
My currently watching list is 20! but I need some choices so I can fit my mood in between currently airing shows. I feel overwhelmed though.
I had a lot on my CW until I decided it was time to finish the already completed dramas before I could start a brand new one. I'm watching my last drama that isn't currently airing. Yay! It's a C-historical, which I also watch while waiting for new eps each week. I only have 5 current shows though.
I'm also looking forward to Don't be too emotional I don't think it as an airing date yet.Tiffany:

i can relate to that as i usually cant complete shows that im not enjoying
regarding Boom Raveewit, I am also worried about him and smart. I fear how they are being treated. i want to know the truth but I’m afraid to know because I don’t want my beloved BLs ruined by bts mistreatment. But I guess every industry has it’s problems.

I am always kind of split on this subject. On one hand I do want to know if some shady stuff is going on because I don´t want to support something that causes harm to the people involved in creating it. If behind the scenes mistreatment goes unknown it will most likely only continue and get worse, so this stuff does need to get exposed to the public as financial backlash is usually the only thing that stop these people from continued abuse.
But on the other hand, I am not someone who can separate really negative behind the scenes stuff/behaviour from the show. So if I know that there was behind the scenes mistreatment on a show I really like I´m anot going to be able to enjoy it as much anymore.
I do feel like this is a thing in all entertainment industries.
BL FOMO?
ME! I always think "oh that seems intersting" and add it to the list, then when i notice how long the list is I try to edit it down, but always feel so bad when i remove something T-T even if I haven´t even thought about the show since I added it to the list!

Same here. I try to cap it at 10 because there is no way I´ll be able to keep up with more and even then I´ll still be overwhelmed.
