i'm glad it's not just me. there have definitely been some good shows coming out, don't get me wrong but i'm still waiting for the bl that really blows me away. i feel like by this time last year, i'd already had at least a couple of those. but i think that just means that the best is yet to come ദ്ദി(˃ ᵕ ˂ ദ്ദി)

i stopped watching after ep7 .. i guess at around ep8, idk it felt like some things were supposed to be treated seriously but it was treated lightly instead and the vibe started to feel off to me

I have 10 perfect liners on my upcoming to watch list. I keep hearing great things about it. For My Romance Scammer, it took a while for me to get into it because I kept dreading the reveal, but then I ended up worrying for nothing. I think I will like it way more on a rewatch.
I can only recommend it. I started it some months ago and had a break as I struggle with series over 12 eps. I first watched the first 9 eps, covering ForceBook's story (as well as MarcPoon as secondary couple) and it was good. Restarted 2 weeks ago until ep 16, with PerthSanta's story, so far my favorite. I'm now moving on to JuniorMark, and I can't wait!
There is a real plot, the stories are well built, it's not too toxic even though some characters have their own issues to deal with, and I really liked how they intertwine each story, with the main couples turning into secondary characters but still present in the next story. It's also covering 3 years of their life, you really have the impression to watch 3 seasons, but without having to wait. If you have some time free (it's 24 eps), go for it!

Started My romance scammer : I totally forgot JuniorMark was my favorite couple in 10 perfect liners, and they're doing a good job here. The second couple nails it too, particularly Poon - a new (to me) cutie to follow.
Poon was also in Perfect 10 Liners, paired mit Marc, not as main couple though. I'm watching the last eps of Perfect 10 Liners right now, and I really like Junior, he's so good at personifying Faifa.

same impression here, that's even the reason why I finally created an account on kisskh and joined this forum: I had the feeling all the BL I had been watching in the previous weeks/months were all similar, with a scenario that was almost always the same, no interesting story, a lot of NC scenes to cover for the lack of interest, and a feeling of emptiness when finishing a series (if I didn't drop it before). At least now I can get some good recommendations on older BL, and since I joined here, it's been fun again to watch BL.
I think (but it's my own personal opinion) that BL is turning hype and under a much bigger demand as a couple of years back. Therefore there are much more series being filmed, but unfortunately the quality is dropping. Even the best actors can't totally save a weak story.

My understanding is that it's one of those BLs to promote Thai tourism and culture, which I tend to enjoy, even if the dramatic quality is weak. I'll definitely watch it, albeit with low expectations.

I really liked the idea of a show about healing past traumas through relationships.

Noted. I often watch at 2X, so maybe just four hours of my life, haha.
Me trying to figure out how the NC scenes would turn out in 2X... Not me going to re-watch some NC scenes in 2X instead of studying for my exams...
