Me too. Ticket to Heaven was an absolute masterpiece in my opinion and I admit I was a bit nervous about how they'd handle the topic. Gemini and Fourth were the perfect casting choice, but I have to say Auntie Lek was my favorite character. I love P'Aof both as a director and a screenwriter, He always handles characters and direction with so much sensitivity. A Tale of a Thousand Stars is one of my all-time favorite series. ❤️

Glad to be back. I guess I'll start watching Mr. Fanboy then. Today was a national holiday here and also Children's Day, so I treated my inner child by starting a few more series: The Last Oath, Boy with Caution, and Blue Lips.

If you want to read the novel of Police in Love here it is the translator is okay with sharing it on MDL. I think it's only about the main couple I haven't read it yet.
Just caught up on Friday's ep. 4 of "Crow Club". There are some irritating weaknesses in the story, but I'm too head-over-heels in love with Vann & Rakkhun (Milk & Newyear) to really mind. 💕
I'm pretty sure they will become my new obsession when I start it (but only next year 😆) I loved Milk so much in Pit Babe s2 !

Tan meeting Auntie Lek was definitely a turning point. She was a gentle soul who lived her truth. Moonlight Chicken is my favorite drama from P'Aof's collection.

Moonlight Chicken, Last Twilight, and Ticket to Heaven are all wonderful. Moonlight Chicken will always have a special place in my heart, though, because it was the first quality Thai BL I ever saw and my first encounter with EarthMix and Mix’s perfect “look of love.” I also did volunteer work in my twenties in rural Latin America, and it changed my life. The way they portrayed the town and Mix’s experience there reminded me so much of my time in Mexico and Honduras.
A funny note about Moonlight Chicken: this was the first time I saw Khao and while I thought he was an amazing actor, I didn’t think he was attractive because he plays the role as if he’s not. Only when I saw him play a different role did I see him differently. But, man, when he cried in Moonlight Chicken, was I a puddle on the floor. This convinced me he’s the best crier at GMMTV, although Gun also is a master at it.
