 Da Bao:

Are you really gonna spam the club with these posts for 24 more days?

We understand, you like that series.

But a few words about it would work wonders instead of all this tbh

Anyway I am mad right now about other stuff, don't mind me.

Wow, are you okay?... I'm just excited. The group is on hiatus, there are no ongoing GLs, and I'm not spewing hate against GLs like so many people out there.
I'm just excited! Is it that bad?🤔

I'm okay now. Sorry about what I said yesterday. I wasn't in the right frame of mind to be replying in the first place. >_< Please continue with the countdown, sorry that happened.

There are a couple actually! They're silly and fun, don't miss them! :)

Recommending this short film, from Singapore.

It's on Gagaoolala, on free tier. You're welcome.

Stand-in Love is a cute GL, from the Philippines. Please do check it out if you haven't already.

It's on Youtube.

This is one of my favorites! The trial dating + chemistry? Absolute fire.

Yes, I gave it a 9! ^^

Also like, I would have added it to my GL watch challenge post if I knew it was this good.

Been meaning to watch it since forever too. This goes to show I shouldn't wait for later.

Same goes for another short film I've seen today. It's called Encore Martha, Taiwanese GL. I scored it a 9 also. I do think these two short films are very different from one another. But the warm feelings while watching them are similar.

Also this made me realize I don't really have a type or if I have one, it varies greatly. :)

Right now I'm watching the movie The Cheese Sisters. Seen half of it last night. Should have kept the momentum and watched the second half too. Now I'm taking a break from it, as if I didn't pause it during a mildly important convo between the two main characters.

It surprises me that a movie can have 4 pairs of 2 FLs. I like the female focus of this movie, BUT it's not as engaging as I thought it would be. This is why so far, it's a 7 out of 10. I'd very much like for the story not to revolve around the cheese making process. Someone said it feels like Thai cheese making propaganda, and I have to agree.

50 more minutes of this, hopefully it will get better.

I can't be dropping another movie smh

Also, this year you'll be seeing me watch a lot more GL and commenting on it in the club. This is because of the GL watch challenge 2026. I'm trying to finish like 40 titles (already completed most of the short films). On top of that, there are other titles I'm interested in that are not for the challenge specifically.

I'm also trying to figure out if I have higher standards for GL than for BL. So far, I think I'm scoring GLs lower, but then again, it's been ages since I watched a full GL series. I prefer movies instead. Commitment to the minimum.

I didn't drop it. It took me 3 days to watch this though.

Seen half in first day, then 1/4 1/4. Really boring even though there is GL in the second part.

I'd say you can skip this movie. There's a lot of cheese products involved and not much else.

It's heartwarming but up to a point where it gets boring. Slice of life? Idk

7 out of 10, although it could be a 6.5 too.

Does anyone know where to watch this? The VOD link provided on the MDL page isn't loading https://kisskh.at/734117-how-do-i-kill-that-b

That's BamBam, a non-binary actor who had a support role in my favourite Thai GL, Blank. I'm happy they've scored a lead role.
