Does anyone know if the Singaporean/Chinese GL "Candy" will get a page here? I haven't found it, since MDL also has Singapore now, we should in theory have a page right? Has anyone tried the GL? I think one episode is out already!

Based on the use of simplified Chinese characters, the accents of the actresses, and the streetscapes, it's definitely another Mainland Chinese series pretending to be Singaporean for censorship reasons. (Oh also just noticed the car license plate is from Hainan.)
It's always weird to me when they pick Singapore to do this, given that gay sex (for men) was still a criminal act in Singapore until January 2023. Mainland China was never thát bad.
Anyways I'll continue watching the episode now :)

I didn't have this one on my radar. I just watched the trailer and it looks promising.
Update on when the tide rises, I quite liked it. I I like more fleshed out endings in general so the end isn't quite what I personally would like but it's fitting. In a time where i'm mostly consuming Thai gl which I love but is more hmm, soap opera than realism, it was nice to see something like this that's more real and queer than commercial.

Anyway, I've been watching things today but mostly BL. I have seen How Do I Kill That B? and I must say that kiss was so good! The overall vibe of this short film is strange though. Not necessarily bad, but it comes off as thriller more than anything. A lighter watch than other things I've seen this week.

For whoever is keeping a list of GL Dramas with short hair / masc. lesbian characters, in "Like a Palette" , episode 2D at about the 4 minute mark, there is a bit-part actress playing such a character. It's a very brief, non-speaking role.
