I did realize today, as I was sending in comments, that this is not as easy as it should be. I don't know what the hold up is for MDL, but they should at least provide an explanation. :(

I am NOT going to help with bringing in outsiders. The potential for it to shift the devs' position is minimal, while the chances of it going badly are significant. It could so easily turn into a hate campaign against the site.

Once you bring in influencers - people who are expert at getting others' emotions worked up, are committed to their own agendas and will use the site's problems to further their own interests - you have zero control over what happens. Zero. Nada. Zilch.

The devs are going to do what they're going to do. They're not going to change their minds because they're getting shit from TikTok and IG, if they're even aware of it.

It's also possible that there will be backlash against Gaga themselves. Because people react based on their own limited information. You've seen that in a small way with that person who questioned whether Gaga is a legit site and then kept going with other reasons. There's history on that from when Gaga first made attempts to have a site presence.

Even something like spamming every current GL and BL title, whether they are available via Gaga or not, has the potential to backfire if it goes on too long. Like the way people roll their eyes at the frequent "Is this BL?" on Thai titles.

It's just human nature, the first time you see something it's interesting but eventually it becomes tiresome. And then people direct those feelings at the most obvious target, which would be Gaga rather than the spammer.

If there is enough energy - and this will take A LOT to get it going - it would be more useful in the long run to do practical on-site things like make and maintain a series of custom lists for what's available on Gaga.

Users shouldn't have to do this, but the devs aren't going to and things like custom lists are what's available to us.

And no, I'm not going to make the lists. I have enough on my hands maintaining the Thai Drama Club's.

Thanks for the long post. I read it all and decided not to go further with the influencer/youtuber thing.

Even if it seemed like a good idea at first, you're right that things could escalate in the wrong direction.

I don't know about making custom lists. That could help, if that's all that's available to us.

Maybe I will set this up, but I think it needs time. And constantly watching whether a title is on Gaga or not from the moment you add it to the list is a bit tiresome. Although I guess that's true of all streaming platforms.

As for the comments, I already commented on a lot of the BL/GL dramas on the site. What's done is done. We got votes at least, out of this and maybe those help, too.

I'll go research what titles are available on Gaga and make the appropriate list(s) in the coming week(s).

Thank you for your help, advice and long posts about it is much appreciated. I've no clue how to help, beside being passionate about it. But yes, leading with emotion is sadly, not the answer. :(

Yes! It was really annoying to get ahold off and i heard someone was fansubbing the project but I never found it. The only way I know currently to get it requires a VPN and it's machine translation. But if you're still interested, you can go to vipa.me/en , sign up, set your VPN to Thailand (I think other sea countries should work too but idk), turn on subtitles and then have chrome google translate it. You might not need a VPN if you're not in the us tbh but in the us, the show's geoblocked now

I see but why aren't they releasing it for int viewers? Do they not know about the Thai GL craze around the world? Could you guys dig a little more for the fansub, I see couple of comments on the drama page talking about it also.

Also do we have a page for this one? Any link to watch this with Eng sub? This is a doomed yuri, my poison hahaha
