I love this pasta. I'm an oil & white sauce person. Aside from pesto, I usually make this kind of pasta at home. I'm also a big fan of aglio olio. When I make pasta, I usually add the pasta water. I make more pasta dishes because it's more convenient. Since I don't really dig bacon, I usually put tuna for some meat in here with more garlic. The key to me is (for pasta), it's always better to have more sauce than not enough sauce (a "dry" pasta). Well, to each one its own.
My friends and learned to make handmade pasta during covid - just to pass time. We topped it will all kinds of sauces but decided tuna is our favorite. This is our favorite tuna pasta recipe - I think the arugula adds another dimension with its bitter peppery notes.
