Are there any dramas with a Female lead that kinda has joking about her own trauma as a coping mechanism or something?

And I don't want it to be a one time thing, I really want her to be a sarcastic Joker about her own pain, not "taking it seriously" and stuff.

Something like "Oh yeah my family got killed, hahaha whoops".   I like dark humor.

I would love to see a romance with that, but any genre except for medical is fine!

Any country is welcome :)

Thank you so much !

One K-drama where the female lead makes light of her trauma is "It's Okay to Not Be Okay". This series, while exploring serious mental health issues, features the female lead, Ko Moon-young, using dark humor and blunt language as a defense mechanism, often joking about her own past and emotional struggles. The series also explores the trauma of the male lead and his brother, showcasing how they all cope with their past experiences, sometimes through humor.

Unfortunately I didn't really like that drama, but still thank you! :)

About Time  : she terminal(not ill) but for her dream she trying, and she is fun.

It's Okay, That's Love  : its just my fav drama, everyone going through so much, but toughing it out with smiles, and jokes!!!

Our Movie  : she is terminally ill, but always joiking around about it

Be Melodramatic : this whole drama is about turning tragedy into comedy only, not a lot of trauma, but all leads even the ones dying...are funny.

Head over Heels : she smiles off her awkward moments and sadness(not in a positive way though but cute)

Kill Me, Heal Me (2015) : he life trauma/serious but she ~~~~~lala

Hi Bye, Mama! (2020) : she dead but funny

My Liberation Notes : here not exactly the fl but his brother is what you need and he is awesome at it, so much u will die laughing.

I do agree with you with Ji Sung's drama "Kill Me, Heal Me". The psychological torment is felt, so was the humor and most importantly -- the healing. The ending is satisfying -- fitting, I should say. Because even though this drama makes me laugh and cry, the concept of a melodrama still lingers. So the ending, for me, feels like the calm after the storm. Ji Sung is incredibly talented.

Thank you!

The fl had a bit of difficult life with her a bit dysfunctional family, and the so much of a troublemaker(but adoringly cute and filial) brother. hahah
