vipa.me only got geolocked this year, apparently. Last year I was able to watch dramas on their website without VPN (I'm in Europe).

It's within the last month. I had just started a programme too. Which is better than nearly finished though.

Anyway, the old thaipbs.or.th links are still working (the geo-restriction is just VIPA) and fortunately those are still on Biloba's list so I made a new one for the Club with the links exposed so it's easy to see. If you're planning ahead for the Challenge, best to make sure that the subs still work. Let me know if you come across one where they don't. Or if you find something on YT or wherever.

(Oh I'm on the Club's account. This will probably a few times in the next week. ::face palm::)

Am I missing anything which needs to be changed or be added to a copy/paste of the 2025 challenge besides the two things mentioned? (Actors list & adding Thai PBS to Channels)

If JulyMoon doesn't return, I'll post 1st January from the TDC account. Will you look it over then so we can catch any mistakes quickly please?

All links work. No errors. Looks good - only issue is: 'Challenge 13' needs to be changed to 2025*. But we don't have corresponding lists to link. We could skip this part. Easy.  Or maybe link other years  favorite lists to get it done fast/easy too. 

Or; We need input from members - maybe post a query in feed? Other option; Contact those that took the challenge 2025 for input.

*Challenge 13: Thai Club Favorites
    Watch a title from the list of members' favourite dramas in 2024 (list)
    Watch a title with one of the actors from the list of actors discovered by the members in 2024 (list)
    Watch a title with one of the actresses from the list of actresses discovered by the members in 2024 (list)
    Watch a title which is an all-time favorite by the members (list)

Pick the easiest. Leaving it would be my suggestion for this year.

Uff. Thanks for finding that. Would not have been good for a last minute thing.

Fast & easy & keeps it in - you and I populate a list of favourite dramas (and anyone else happening by). I can throw in a pile of good movies quickly so there will be plenty to choose from. 

I can add a line to the page itself inviting participants to add their favourites. Who knows if they'll read it or bother, but it does target the right group easily.

The "New Talent" title for actors and actresses always rubs me the wrong way. Like Ananda Everingham (OMG how could I forget HIM from 1A LOL) who I 'discovered' in '23 because I was noob? =D =D =D

Anyway.... let's get a favourite titles list going while we think about this. I'll look through this year's participants to see how many did that Challenge, if no one did it maybe we'll leave it.

Adding it to the challenge description would be great. Good idea. At least they'll have a chance to read it, and a place  to submit. I'll be back in the morning. And get on that. <3 ^_^

New Talent - Change it?  Discovered Talent?

Oh, and there was some (Anusaya and JulyMoon I think) interest earlier when I suggested a Thai Supernatural Mini-Challenge, as a wee nong sao to the main Challenge.

A title could be used for both mini- and main. It would be *very* informal and some of it can be figured it out as we go along, like if a suggested prompt just doesn't work. It might be a way to gather some small community with more interaction as it's more focused and reach out more to those who will watch some Thai titles but not enough for the main challenge.

Here or a comment on the custom list. Comment on the custom list is in theory better during the rest of the year because thread posts can get overlooked, but this is what I'm doing for New Year's Eve =D

LOLOLOLSOB i accidentally hit save too early while i was copying over JulyMoon's hex colours for the tables, so the thread is started...

and i'm having a grand old time trying to make tables work (not) on the Challenge proper so i'm giving up for the night before i really mess something up. but at least i didn't delete the 2025 challenge. (really did NOT like needing to have edit open on that to get the hex colours). i think i'm just going to put horizontal lines between the Challenges. easy is our mantra this year.
