"Road Home" is a very warm drama. Some might consider it slow, but the romance is actually developing quite quickly. While I usually prefer quicker dramas, this one, similar to "Amidst a Snowstorm of Love" (by the same writer), is really good. I only fast-forwarded some scenes during the last episodes as they were a bit repetitive, but overall every scene had its impact. They showed us how their relationship changed from youthful, kind of selfish perspectives to a mature handling of love. Some scenes regarding work were a tad bit boring as they were not the centre of the story per se; however, it gave an understanding of who the main characters are. I also absolutely adored their friends, especially the secondary couple. Their maturity and wise dealing of issues is an inspiration. The drama also allowed me to realise my own growing as a person. I never experienced teenage love and when watching dramas I enjoyed many couples who actually lived off miscommunication. Now I am watching dramas like "Road Home" and "Amidst a Snowstorm of Love" and I am hoping to find a love similar to this. No person is perfect, and that's what they are showing here as well. However, a successful relationship is based on how you act, how you react during difficult times, how you express yourself. I still love fast dramas but it is the calmer ones that actually create butterflies in my stomach. Of course there are some aspects in the drama that can be improved, but the story itself is really good. A very well-deserved 9/10. Deffo recommendable. Very green-flagged leads!
