Bls I have watched

This show was really good in certain aspects and okay in others. Starting, the acting was really good, especially as both of them had no full acting experience beforehand it was impressive. Specifically for Taehyun. They also had amazing chemistry, the yearning was crazy. The cinematography was also nice, I liked how they reflected the mood and tones with the lighting and framing. There were some really impressive shots, it was really crisp and clean though a little too much for me. The plot was very simple but I liked the depth they gave to Taehyuns character, I think they could’ve done even more with it though. Dayeol had some depth but they didn’t really go into it. I wish they focused on the darker parts a bit more like the flower pot scene and aspects like that. It would’ve been better with a little more grit. The time skip wasn’t that great seeing as nothing really changed. Dayeol felt a bit cruel leaving like that I mean Taehyun was like super traumatized idk how anyone expected him to understand his feelings. Maybe it would’ve been better without the timeskip idk? The ending was super cute but it did feel a bit artificial I wish we could’ve seen Taehyuns actual confession before they started dating and moments like that. Overall it was fun and cute but I wanted a bit more from it. 

This is such a short a sweet series. It’s something to watch if you want something easy and lighthearted. What stands out the is the dynamic and chemistry between the characters, in such little time we can see how their relationship works and grows. I love the twist of the typical person left behind trope and the actual trauma that Gitae is left with. Seeing him panic like that was truly heartbreaking. It was a simple misunderstanding but in the end they found eachother again. I liked the dynamic a lot, Gitae was always teasing and Wan was down bad but also closed off. They quickly fell back into that childhood friendship though and it immediately turned romantic. I liked how fast paced it was, it wasn’t stressful or dragged on. The acting was really good too. There’s not much else to say because it was so short but it was fun and cute sooo…

I can’t put into words how beautiful this show is, it might be the single most beautifully crafted  piece of media. The camerawork is outstanding, that handheld look and movement is so perfect. And the lighting? HOLY MOLY, it’s genuinely so good. I need that lighting in everything. The angles and placement and editing all worked so well together to make something so so amazing. Just the look of this show is so impressive I wish everything looked like this. Then the acting?? So so good, they portrayed their characters so well it was crazy. That dead look in Jaewons eyes was inane. The chemistry was also reallllyyy good. I love them together. They had a great dynamic, each being someone who brought something into eachothers lives. There were so many good lines in this representing the characters and the relationships, the writers did so good. I really really love them and how this portrays mental health and just life in general. This is such a raw and gritty series that really can’t be beat by anything else out there. I wish wish wish more BLS were like this because it’s so perfect.

ITS SO CUTE! Seriously this drama is very lighthearted, it does have its conflict but it’s not overly stressful or frustrating. The conflict gets resolved in a satisfying way and it doesn't get dragged on. It’s starts off as an unrequited crush but quickly turns mutual and it’s so cute. There was no multi episodes of one character failing to realize their feelings, they both understood what they wanted pretty quickly. I LOVE childhood best friends to lovers and they did that trope justice. Their relationship was so natural and you could tell that it was more than just friendship but they were holding back. Then when the line was crossed it quickly morphed into a romantic relationship. They had amazing chemistry, serious the small touches and way they interacted were all done so well. They were affectionate in such a natural and realistic way it was so nice to watch. I could watch a whole season of them just being a happy couple they look so good together. It actually felt like they were a real couple at times. Overall the plot wasn’t super complex but it wasn’t boring. The music and singing was really good too. The camera work was also really nice. Where this show really shines is in its acting and chemistry between actors. The main couple had an amazing dynamic and their relationship was so beautiful to watch. I’m obsessed with them and probably always will be. 

After watching this several times I can say it’s really not that good, I still like it though. Mainly the productions problems really stick out like the boom mic getting in frame SEVERAL TIMES?? I don’t know how they didn’t catch that…Anyways the acting is pretty good. I thought the couples had good chemistry as well. They were a little basic but not boring. In order I like Maru and Minwoo the most, then the main couple (i think) Hyeon and Kim An, then the TA couple (i forgot their names.) For Maru and Minwoo they ate up the childhood bestfriends to lovers trope, Maru was clueless but when he realized his feelings it was adorable. I think their kiss scene was the best it was so natural and cute. I just loved their dynamic and think they had the best chemistry. The main couple had good chemistry but were def lacking in the intimate scenes, it felt a bit like they were holding back. I thought their story was very interesting though and they were good together. For the TA couple they def had the most intimate scenes and good chemistry but their story was a bit boring I guess. Idk I feel like more could’ve been done? I liked how we got like two eps of the dating eras that was nice but it did start to drag on. Overall it was fun to watch but I feel like they could’ve done more for the story. I like angst so maybe that’s just bias but it was very lighthearted. Even the harsh sides weren’t very harsh. Def a fun watch but nothing too special. Also it has almost nothing to do with season one but the main couple makes a cameo.

I don’t know how to fully put into words just how good this series is. It’s so unique that plot wise it’s something I’ve never seen in a BL or a series before. The whole concept and then the reveal of what actually happened was so good and done so incredibly well. This had the most interesting plot i’ve probably ever seen. The acting was amazing on everyone’s part especially Joowans acting, when he was begging to not break up I felt my heart being crushed. He prorated depression and emptiness and then happiness and love so well it was insane. The chemistry between the two actors was insane too. I could feel the characters emotions through them. Also the cinematography? SO AMAZING, from the angles to the lighting to the framing it was all perfect. I loved the use of handheld and all the choices and movements they did. Plus the changing aspect ratio was so cool. It’s rare to see such care and detail put into cinematography in short series but I could tell each choice was a careful and intentional one. This series is actually so inspiring to me and I love everything about it. The ending too was so good it was such a dark twist but everything turns out okay with such a beautiful message. I love everything about this series.

I love it when a drama takes something simple and makes something amazing. Seriously, it was short and cute but it was also really good. Not just the quality but the acting and the cinematography. It felt like a lot of love was poured into making this. The chemistry was so good, there is something so perfect about their dynamic that was portrayed amazingly. The way they both changed after meeting each other too? I loved seeing Jinwoo open up and his personality come to light and seeing Giseop learn how to love and understand his own feelings. They both brought something irreplaceable into each others lives. The backstories and the reasons why the characters acted the way they did were well thought out and shown as well, Giseop was actually very complex and that was interesting. So was Jinwoo, I liked how they handled the dad issue and how Giseop helped in solving it. This was such a lighthearted show but it still had depth, I loved how they didn’t drag on any misunderstandings or conflict. It was very pure but also interesting and entertaining. I wish somehow we’d get a season two because that second couple is my roman empire. Seriously I want to see them get together and maybe learn more about Inho. I’d also like to learn more about Giseops family and his illness. UGH SEASON TWO PLEASEEEE!!

This series is actually so insane, i’m not sure how to describe it. The parallels, the metaphors, the character depth. Each piece gets put together to form this amazing puzzle that is a work of art. Both the characters had depth and development and they were flawed but still found a way to make it work it was beautiful. The side character had depth too and wasn’t too annoying. The struggles with religion and family and identity were so real and gritty. It wasn’t scared to be real and I love that. They had show-stopping chemistry and they were fantastic actors all of them. I’m not a time skip fan but they did it so incredibly well that I wasn’t mad about it. Seriously this series is so underrated and I think people don’t realize how good it is and all the details it has. I would watch this one million more time if I could. Perfect no notes.
