Variety Shows: A Handy Package
Welcome to the package of variety shows. Although I don't watch many variety shows, I do have some on my list that I found interesting. Most of them are Chinese variety shows because I don't really watch others, but if there are, I will also include them here. I watch stuff pretty much randomly, so this list won't be in particular order. It's just what I watched first and last. You are welcome to use the comments I've left as a guide; some might even contain spoilers. Please view at your own risk.
Note: My comments/reviews are usually biased; I would rate it according to my liking. You might not find stuff I wrote reasonable or rational because it's mostly emotionally based.

1. The Truth Season 3
Chinese TV Show - 2025, 20 episodes
COMPLETED
I found out about this show by accident, and I'm glad I didn't scroll off that TikTok video. I really watched this because of a TikTok video of the singing challenge in the prelude episode. I was so lost at first because I didn't expect it to be a case-solving show, but once I knew, I couldn't drop it. I love every case in this season, although if compared to the second season, this is a bit more complicated. Still love it anyway. I love that in this season they added a lot of stuff, things like buff cards and others. "Helimojinyu" has become my favorite team. I love their friendship on and off screen, and I don't want any of them to leave, but I also understand that they have their own schedule. Hoping that season 4 will come very soon, even without Reba and Bai Yu (which is already sad).

2. The Truth Season 2
Chinese TV Show - 2024, 20 episodes
COMPLETED
I love this a lot. I actually watched season 2 after season 3 lol. How weird. I've always been into escape-room shows, puzzles, and problem-solving; after finding out about this show, I was so excited and binge-watched it every day. Tbh, at first I decided to watch because of the cast members; I love Dilraba, Linghe, and Yuning and knew nothing about the rest, lol. But watching this, I got to know more people and fell in love with them. Moving on to the cases, aka the plot, compared to season 3, I actually kind of also like the simplicity of this season more. The cases are very good, and I love that they also include real-life issues to educate people. The expert interview at the end of every case is a brilliant work, if I were to comment about it.
