The Bulk of K-dramas

Welcome to the bulk of K-dramas!

I love keeping track of what I watched; I have separated the fantasy genre into one list, and here are the normal ones. You'll find that most of them are courtroom and detective dramas, but there are also other genres like romance as well. Like every other list, I might not be able to explain my ratings at times because I assigned them after watching, and most of the dramas were completed years ago. Those without any comments are because I can't remember the plot anymore; I'll try to write something in them tho. You are welcome to use them as a guide, and please be aware that some comments contain a tiny amount of spoilers.

Note: My comments/reviews are usually biased; I would rate it according to my liking. You might not find stuff I wrote reasonable or rational because it's mostly emotionally based.

    DROPPED

I forgot why I couldn't continue watching this show despite its very short episode count. I only remember trying to pick it up twice, but I couldn't concentrate, so I dropped it again. I hope one day I'll come back to it.

I watched this when it was airing back then. I watched it live on TV, and I can remember coming back from school and sitting in front of the TV just waiting for this to air. This was one of my earliest days in K-drama; the memories are still as fresh as yesterday. This drama deserves more recognition because it's so good. I'm not very sure if it was based on real history or not, but I think it was. It made me cry a lot when watching it; I smiled a lot too because their love was so pure. It's so underrated; I hope more people will watch it and love it the way I did.

I might come back to it later, but I can't ensure that I'll finish it because I tried twice, and it really wasn't my vibe. I dropped this drama twice or thrice before. This was recommended a lot, but I can't seem to like it in any way.

It's so rare to have a drama this real. It depicts these days' relationships so well; it made me realise that people nowadays really like to complicate things. The fact that these types of relationships really exist in real life is scary; I'll never understand the hate for this drama. I used to be the 'Nabi' type of girl: naive, soft to love and fragile. I learnt my lesson the hard way too, so I feel that this drama is so relatable. There will be pain and regrets in a relationship; some people will surely settle for the red flags and the uncertainty, but they're willing to do it anyway because it's exciting to gamble. I love the analogy of the "butterflies" and "her"; it made me realise that some places are endearing and comfortable to stay in. You'll get pampered a lot, you'll live well and happily, but still, you'll be longing for your own freedom when it's starting to feel suffocating, just like how he released the butterflies and her at the same time.
