I honestly felt the same way as you .. and episode 16 lacked so much on showing Moeun's character growth but...…
When he broke up with her, they both still loved each other so them getting back together just seems to me like they're picking up back where they stopped and trying to be together when Moeun most likely (since there is no actual clarification) might still feel they are incompatible. Like how could she date a deaf guy and get offended that he didn't hear her stomach grumble or that he didn't react to the music being turned off. Girlie needs to work on herself, or better still find someone who suits her dreams than date someone who clearly doesn't meet up, and get sad she can't mould him into her ideal partner.
If they broke up because she kept finding inadequacies in how he is in their relationship, what's the point of bringing them together again after she hurt him so much that he broke up with her? There is no clarification if she still feels the same and will keep pointing out 'faults' in a deaf man's existence. 'Faults' that will never change.
Episode 16 was unnecessary. Jinwoo deserves someone who won't make him feel like a burden to them. Towards the ending, I preferred he ended up with Seo kyung instead, (not like she's an ideal choice either). At least she showed growth and realized that he in fact was enough. She just never cared to notice. Moeun's character on the other hand was just shown 1 year later, after making Jinwoo feel insecure in his abilities as a partner, without any scene of her showing she accepts Jinwoo as he is with all his expected shortcomings that may not align with her dream relationship. The writers just put Jinwoo with her, when he might still experience the exact same thing again.
I wish Jinwoo found someone less problematic than Seokyung and Moeun. Someone who would appreciate him for him.
Bo geol is ki ho. It’s very evident in episode6. And as you can see the preview of episode 7, I guess now the…
I saw things hinting it, but nothing really definite yet. I just want them to focus on her singing story. No hidden mystery plots, just her achieving her dreams
At this point, I don't actually care who Kiho is. I'm not going to relive my 2521 anxiety. Whoever Kiho is, I wish Mokha will achieve her dreams in the end, or find happiness. The name of the show is Castaway Diva, not 'Finding Kiho and the Secrets of the Lake'.
Bogyeol and Woohak both have their individual charming aspects, so I'm fine either way. If the writers want to follow the cliché childhood friends fated to be together trope, or if they want to change things up, as long as the plot evolves properly, I'll enjoy the show. Good shows with premises like this get fucked over by the writers in the later episodes. That's my fear, not the Kiho identity or the lake.
I hope they don't oversaturate the plot and have too many things happening at once. I'm looking forward to the second half.
he improved lol, it's been years since he starred in familiar wife move on
I feel you are just a hater. You know actors sometimes check thier mydramalist profiles right? What did he do to personally offended you to come here and spread baseless hate. He's a good actor. Among idol actors, he's constantly praised. He is being praised for his acting in 'Castaway Diva' too, so I don't know why you're hell bent on convincing yourself he's a bad actor. Your spiteful words won't change the fact that he's an amazing actor, and he's constantly proving hateful people like you wrong, with every new character he gives life to.
Bland actor. I dunno I watched him before in Familiar Wife but he doesn't make that much impression to me. I think…
Hakyeon caught my eye with his acting way before I knew he was an idol. His acting in 'children of nobody' clears most actors his age. He's expressive, and you can feel his characters emotions. Every role feels different. Even his minor guest roles like that in his role last year in 'Tomorrow', he goes above and beyond to properly portray. You can call Hakyeon so many things to express your unexplainable hatred for him, but one thing that would never make sense to describe him, is a 'bland actor'. His role in 'familiar wife' was also in his rookie acting years. Although I still can't see how bland it is as you have described, he has obviously grown as an actor since then. I think it's unfair to ascribe him a negative adjective, without checking out his acting in his recent roles, to properly assess his acting skills.
As hateful as the fans of the Taiwanese original are being to the Korean version, at least their reasons are related to the plot, pacing, and execution of the pre-existing characters (I haven't watched either, so I don't know), unlike the fans of the korean version whose reasons for preferring the remake seem to be because "the actors aren't ugly". Not saying I condone either form of hate. You're still being trashy, either way. . If Kdramas or Taiwanese Dramas are making you hateful on the internet, you need to take a break and ask yourselves if any of it is worth being hateful over.
korean version is actually better, i found this one very dark and kind boring
So this version is worse to you because the actors are "ugly" which they aren't, they Just aren't Korean. Just accept you are a Koreaboo with your full chest, instead of editing your xenophobic comment out. . I wonder when people began thinking Korean=better. Just because people aren't from a particular country, and look a particular way, doesn't mean people who look differently, are ugly. . Kdrama fans are dissappointing.
I haven't watched either the original or this one, but it's dissappointing to see fans of both rating both series 1/10, out of spite. . I'll watch A Time Called You, but I'll watch Someday or One Day first and see what the fans of SOOD are making such a fuss about. My expectations are really high now. . The original and the remake were created with so much effort and hardwork from their cast and crew, and to just give them a 1/10 rating half heartedly without watching either of them to properly appreciate them, is very immature behaviour from the fans, many of whom might be adults. . One will always be better than the other, it doesn't mean that because of whichever one you feel is better, you automatically have to condemn the other version, be it the remake, or the original.
