I still remember astounding visuals there.

You know what was the grossest "no hygiene" moment? Gym workers wiping butt sweat with no disinfectant spray.

FL never visiting the top floors looks to be intentional. Top floors workers have a different colored uniform, which she'll get later when she'll be promoted to work there. Not sure about visiting a guest's bathroom, it was emergency, but I'm sure there are staff toilets on every floor. And never seeing semi-transparent bathroom walls looked dumb, but it was for comedy. Kdramas love to put FLs in embarassing situations.

I've read somewhere it's that VVIP lounge at the top of the hotel. The name still sounds weird in English though.

It has a slow start in the first few episodes. It will get better.

Anime still holds.

FL has a boyfriend. But seems they're on the verge of breaking up.

I'd recommend Crazy Love. ML there is a very competent and convincing boss, I think the best representation I've seen. And FL there is quite rational usually (when she's not taking crazy revenge on ML due to reasons).

I thought you could give ML a bit of slack here since he's new at his job. But then I remembered chaebol ML in A Business Proposal was also new at his job, but he was quite competent and liked to get involved in the process. So I guess no slack for ML here, he's here to be a clueless chaebol boss and to flaunt his wealth for comedic effect, like in that scene at the airport.

Reincarnation and childhood connection, two of the most popular kdrama tropes. I guess they wanted to go for double whammy. I'm not seeing why they had to use reincarnation so far though, simple childhood connection could have served the same purpose. FL isn't making much use of her previous lives, it's just a hook to that sole important 18th one.

I'm not sold on this show yet. Spoil me somebody who read the webtoon - how does it end? Is it a happy ending or they died and met in 20th life or something?

P.S. Using White Truck Of Doom in the first episode is just overboard and uncreative. It's like there are no other ways to kill off a character.

This drama is full 16 episodes. I'm sure there will be plenty of screentime reserved just for the leads. And establishing all characters is important, not just the leads.

Well, Gaus was full of unrealistic gags for comedy's sake, KTL is more serious so far.

It was one of the best rom-coms last year, definitely would recommend.

He seems like a big party goer and puts his gf in last place when something comes up all the time. A red flag indeed.

I had Gaus Electronics vibes in the beginning from ML. Golden parachuted to his job, chaebol, didn't write his parents names in his resume, etc.

I like the three friends so far. Especially that scene where they ruined kid's reputation at a bouncy house. And FL's friends have a purpose here at least, they're not just a filler. Each of them suffers and climbs the ladder in their respective service fields. And when they come together they unwind and become themselves.

She made that big of an impression on him 😂.

He's always like that. FL carried the show. But they were cast together in Goblin and this drama rode on its success.

I dunno what people are complaining about here. It looks like a very funny, lighthearted and well made rom-com so far. A much better start than most of this year's dramas. I hope it lasts, I've been waiting for some good rom-coms.

My personal tiny complaint is - stop using that same manor house over and over again! You know which one I'm talking about, it's been featured in like 5+ kdramas already since last year.

A very solid action drama for the first 6 episodes. But it was as if they've started a very rushed part 2 in the last two episodes. A whole new host of characters was introduced, FL was swapped with another girl, police suddenly got all the evidince on the bad guy in like 10 seconds of screen time and made him go on the run, the last stand off went out with a wimper. The main two guys had basically no character development, they only trained harder to box.

I dunno, a 7.5 from me. Fighting scenes were nicely done at least. Would recommend it to those who love to see some nicely built naked muscle.

P.S. This has got to be the only kdrama that incorporated covid into the plot. All the other dramas of that period were avoiding any mention of it or wearing masks, which is good in the long run. Nobody wants to remember that crappy time when rewatching dramas after some years.
But I also lol-ed at FL going to Rome during covid. Italy was a real covid breeding ground, one of the worst places to visit at that time.

Is this a Korean take on Stranger Things?
