Yea, if it weren't for actors doing great jobs and leads chemistry I feel like I'd have struggled to finish this part. I've no idea about the ending, but there's a high chance of it being a trainwreck.

I've read they wanted to make side stories about side characters who didn't get enough screen time. But I'm not seeing any new interesting side stories at all here. Just boring filler and dragged out main plot hanging on amnesia trope. I mean, they even dropped the juicy story about Dang Gu and Cho Yeon secretly getting back together - we only learned about them even being intimate at least one time in passing through a conversation.
And of course, as soon as FL remembers herself she's back at the end of part 1 basically - in mortal danger of perma death. Just running around in circles, indeed.

Does anybody else think that Jin Mu and his evil scheming took a back seat in part 2?
In part 1 he was very proactive and unpredictable, he also had a smart shaman as a boss.
In part 2, he only has a dumb crazy bitch Queen and her even dumber Seo relative as sidekicks and is not doing too much to achieve his rather nebulous plan of gaining a new ice stone through forced drought (is he even still on it? bird statues plan was a fiasco). I feel like at this point, his prime time as the villain is long past and his demise is long overdue, I can't help but roll my eyes whenever he appears like a total cliche to once again shake things up a bit for the leads. Maybe they should have gone for a new villain in part 2.

I feel like this whole part 2 is really dragging its feet with Naksu's amnesia plot and is mainly focused on her and Uk's repetitive "push and pull" relationship of falling in love again.
The rest is filler, especially Park Jin's black matter cooking lessons.
Was it worth making 10 more episodes of contrived extra plot about FL's seemingly perpetual inability to get rid herself of Jin clan's "leeches" (JBY, mama Jin, Jin Mu) that keep ruining her life and to permanently stay alive? Or maybe the story should have been more neatly wrapped up in one part?

He did want to save Naksu apparently. And apparently he is a liar. The only thing I don't get is how does he know JBY had a plan and what it involves, since, you know, she was petrified.
Did he interact with her somehow?

He saved her from a soul shifter in part 1 like a damsel in distress, remember "Naksu blue"? And she immediately fell for him because of that 🙄. That's about it. Everything else she invented in her head, Uk took no part in her delusions.

Yea, I don't get it either. The body now looks like Naksu's soul. By the previously established logic it's JBY who should get rejected now because she doesn't have that appearance.
Just another newly thrown in plot hole, I guess.
I bet they'll cover it with yet another one like she'll somehow start transforming the body back into og appearance without a spell or magic user energy.

Was that really the thing most people were bothered by in episode 7?
From what I see here people are worried about a real big problem - Naksu's soul is about to disappear for good and JBY is going to take over her body!

She's a real bitch to FL. In part 2 she's especially insufferable. And it's even before she realized it's Naksu, she was just jelly FL was ML's wife. But now that she read Yul's letter she's gonna dial that biatch mode to 11 judging by the preview.

And Uk never cared about her love. She's just a sad stalking third wheeler now who just can't move on.

I've no ideas. That old "og body put on ice" theory's time has passed already, I'm afraid. It's gonna be a fight for JBY's body in the end, I think.

Those "moments" were all in lady Heo's head. Uk didn't think about it in that vein, she invented everything herself, like women often do.

Apparently nobody really knows, they're all just speculating. And mama Jin doesn't have soul ejectors, and she wouldn't want to aos her daughter from one soul shifter body into another. They're all walking time bombs after all.

Yea, I thought they'd merge the souls there in the end. Would have been perfect, too bad it ended that way. And I don't want that sort of ending in AoS, it would be devastating since Naksu doesn't even have a body to return to.

Who? You mean Naksu? She only likes Yul as a friend. FL can't have male friends?
And Heo girl doesn't have any friends because she's a bitch. Nobody likes her.

They haven't cheated and were not swayed by other characters so far, even after 2 parts. I see no reason for them to suddenly start.

Mama Jin was given a choice by master Lee - save the body or let her daughter die. (Which apparently was a lie, since now it's revealed the soul is also still alive)

She chose to save the body. And she's totally convinced that it's the body that passes the genes. Believable, since JBY's body does exhibit divine powers even though Naksu's not a priestess. But since new bs from master Lee about BY's soul being alive was thrown into the mix that belief is up to debate again.

And you should watch Mr. Queen if you haven't already. It's similar to AoS in many ways. Ending could have been better, some may even say it was a happy one, definitely wasn't a sad one.

At this late point in the drama I doubt she'll make much of an appearance, maybe a cameo. She's basically a plot device, I doubt many people really care about her as a character.

Hey, I'm not gonna disagree. I'm all for a happy ending just like everybody here, but it's Hong sisters, you can't trust them with a happy ending. The way they keep inserting new contrived plot holes just for the sake of keeping us in suspence over FL's fate is definitely not a good writing. I like suspence, I don't like dumbassery and contradicting late additions in plots. So I'm very cautiosly optimistic about any sort of good endings for this drama.
