I think wedding will take a place in the beginning of the episode 10 (before the chaos begin in Daeho.) at this…
But Naksu's gonna disappear soon. What sort of f*cked up wedding is this? To marry before dying? Poor Uk gonna think he's gonna end up a widower for the rest of his life?
What do you, guys, think about endgame plot devices?
Is firebird just a magical bird that brings major drought? Or is it actually a phoenix that can perhaps resurrect people?
Is JBY's soul actually JSR's soul from the ice stone like we speculated here for a while now? Will she be played by that grandma actress in unknown support role? And will she be gracious enough to fullfill the duty of stopping the drought and leaving the body to Naksu? Will she go back to the ice stone or be born as someone's baby again?
Naksu should be reunited with her sword again 🥲
Forget it. She'll never be back to her old powerful mage warrior self. After she got stuck in JBY's body she lost it for good. She was a lowly maid with blocked magical powers in part 1. And now she's a damsel in distress with leeched magical powers in part 2. The best she can hope for is JBY/JSR soul leaving the body of a priestess to her.
Are they seriously gonna repeat part 1 ending and show us not only wedding plans but the actual wedding before dealing with issues like Jin Mu still at large and Naksu (and possibly Uk) dying? Nobody learned anything from part 1? Why everybody continues to be so unmotivated to kill off the villain for good? If they really are going to go the sad route again I feel like it would not only be a major waste of time, but also a big f*ck you from the writers and disrespect for the audience's intelligence. And it seems they really did kill off 3 major characters just like that for shock value. And lied about indepth exploration of side characters in part 2. Only Park Jin's boring life after Songrim was shown most frequently. CP got overshadowed by a frikking turtle. And there's barely anything going on with PDG and JCY, they've shoved their romance offscreen.
Gotta stay positive and hope for a happy ending for the leads at least. But I can already see it has high chances of ending up in a trainwreck, as it often happens in kdramas.
cn u please tell me who is jsr? she randomly got mentioned in todays episode saying that buyeon might be her but…
Jin Seol Ran. She was the founder of Jin clan from 200 years ago. Songrim leader dedicated a poem to her in that magical book in part 1, his was an unrequited love. Apparently she was dying from wounds or smth soon after the great war and Songrim leader left one ice stone for her to live. But she refused it, allegedly, and died. And that ice stone was held in Jinyowon ever since, until mama Jin gave it to Jang Kang to help her birth her stillborn daugher, Jin Bu Yeon. There were theories going on earlier about her actually being in that ice stone and transmigrating to mama Jin's dead baby with no soul. I guess it's true after all? We'll see tomorrow.
If JSR is indeed JBY's soul I guess we can figure out whom that old actress (from Uncanny Counter) in unknown support role is going to play. But I'd put her in guest role.
I think some people's expectations were too high here. Haven't you learned anything from watching other kdramas and AoS part 1? 1. It's a penultimate episode. They're skipping scenes on purpose to tease us for the finale. 2. Part 1 also had huge buildup that fizzled very anticlimactically in the last two episodes. Don't expect something grandiose out of the finale. 3. Any couple that makes wedding plans is going to meet big misfortune. And it's not the leads now, they've learned their lesson. 4. Expecting a villain to die when there's one more episode left is unreasonable, there has to be more time wasted on the mofo in one final showdown before wrapping it up. 5. Master Lee is a lazily written, blatant, useless writers insert that makes up more and more ridiculous bs as episodes go. Part 2's plot got so contrived I don't even care now what else he comes up with.
Anyway, lower your expectations, writers are not that good, and just hope for a happy ending for the leads. Personally, I don't care about anything else at this point. If they gonna kill them off, this drama is going into the dumpster bin for me.
Can't believe it's ending this weekend! This drama has been on my mind for half a year now, flaws and all. I really hope it's gonna end well. I want to be able to rewatch it, which gonna happen only with a happy ending.
Oh, another dream induced thought. Why hasn’t Jin Mu soul shifted earlier? Perfect time would have been 3 years…
According to Jin Mu himself he has not shifted yet because all the soul ejectors that were made were cursed by the shaman. He didn’t want to fall to the bells curse. I guess now that the shaman is dead and he got the bells he could have done it, but his position right now likely is more beneficial until he gets an ice stone at least.
I swear my mind kept thinking Naksu and Jang Uk will finally get married in EP10, then Naksu will disappear. This…
I doubt it. Haven't you seen how Naksu started pushing Uk away as soon as she learned from JBY that she's gonna disappear? She wouldn't want to hurt him even more. Do you think she'll agree to a frikking wedding with these news? Not a chance unless this problem is resolved. And they've already done this type of plot where they were carelessly making future plans and planning a wedding without resolving Naksu's soul shifter issue. I doubt the leads will make the same mistake again now.
Is the translation correct. It says 'Wedding shooting location with good atmosphere'Wedding?
It’s not. It most likely means Korean name of this drama - Hwanhon. One of its translations is marriage/wedding. You can look up various translations for it even here in name section on part 1 page.
Also, he said that Hwansu level mage like Uk could kick out JBY's soul to save Naksu. But master Lee himself is…
Because it's a moral dilemma he himself is not willing to solve. I can already see it how the leads will be agonizing over it. To do the noble thing and let Naksu die, or f*ck JBY - kick her out. I'm hoping the idea of saving both people, that Park Jin taught Uk, will take a firm root and the leads will find a third solution to this problem.
Master Lee is the only person who apparently can shift his soul without an ice stone, he is shady and has an ulterior…
Also, he said that Hwansu level mage like Uk could kick out JBY's soul to save Naksu. But master Lee himself is a Hwansu level mage and could have saved Naksu from the very beginning of part 2, instead of doing this half assed job that gonna come undone soon.
