Jin Mu wants to make a drought, real or staged, to force Jin clan priestesses to perform the rain ritual again to get himself a new ice stone.
I think after those fire bird statues fiasco he may want to steal the real fire bird from Jinyowon, or make it hatch somehow. That may involve the f*cking bells again.

Yul wrote it. It was his suicide note that bitch Heo girl had no business to read. He was preparing to kill Naksu and then himself because he was deathly sick anyway.

But then he came back for her. He doesn't want to freeze to death alone.

1. It wasn't Naksu's body that got petrified. It was JBY's body. Naksu's og body was burned at the pyre at the start of part 1.
2. Yea, you're right here. Master Lee apparently lied that he removed JBY's soul and she's still inside the body along with Naksu.
3. I've no idea, I think her body may simply start reverting back to her og appearance once she kicks out Naksu.
4. I'm talking about the spell master Lee used along with all of Naksu's energy to transform the petrified body back to human form resembling Naksu's soul.

I think he got just as frustrated as we are now. I rewatched his dialogue with Yul and apparently he tried to save Naksu, but now laments that it's still gonna go according to JBY's plan. Unless he lied there again, can't trust anything he says now.

Watch episode 7 again when master Lee talks to Yul - he said that Naksu's soul will soon disappear from the body and once JBY's soul, the true owner of the body, awakens, Naksu's soul will disappear.
And then watch the preview again for episode 8 - Yul is saying that Naksu's soul will disappear soon and JBY will take over the body.

There's a high probability they gonna repeat Mr. Queen ending - the real protagonist's soul will be kicked out of the possessed body. But unlike AoS, in Mr. Queen the real queen's soul was coming to the forefront more often, to try to get intimate with the King with whom she was in love with, for example. And the protagonist had his og body to return to.
In AoS JBY as a character is an enigma, she's basically a plot device with a back story. And Naksu has no body to return to.

I guess I'm willing to accept an ending where JBY merges with Naksu's soul, but never if they gonna kill off Naksu and insert a stranger JBY as end game.

It was about today's situation - he scolded Uk for choosing to save Yul at the expense of Naksu going back to Jinyowon. He told him he should save both.
Tbh, I'm tired of this repeated pattern in part 2:
-Uk says something nasty to FL,
-she gets upset and leaves,
-Uk rethinks his bad choice of words and runs after her,
-they reconcile.
They've repeated this scheme so many times in part 2 I lost count. It bores me now, especially considering that the amnesia plot is still dragging. Part 1 plot was way more varied and unpredictable compared to part 2.

I'm ok with merging souls, it would be a solution. But that's not what master prophesizes now - he says Naksu's soul will vanish and JBY's will take over (even though it's supposed to be gone, but it's a lie now apparently).
And all the information about Naksu's and JBY's situation comes solely from master Lee, who is a liar now, so he's an unreliable narrator. Can't trust anything now, I don't know how it will go.

Instructions were provided by master Heo. It was a rather complicated plan, involving Seo clan's soul storage wick for their lifeline lanterns, a fire bird and lots of gold. And also, Jin Mu had to do some groveling to save his life, for once.

1. Lack of energy is because they are leaking it. Energy leakage occurs because their souls and new bodies are not identical, it seeps as if through the cracks.

It wasn't romantic whatsoever, it wasn't even a real kiss. She had to transfer a plot device she was holding in her mouth back inside Yul. That's it.

I can only say there's a lot of contradicting misinformation from master Lee, who apparently is a liar now, he lied to mama Jin.

Main problems with his bs are:
1) Naksu disappearing just like that (to where?) is some new invented bs nobody has ever heard of before. Soul shifters fate is to die inside a petrified body. What exactly he predicts is going to happen to her? 🤷‍♂️
2) Where is JBY's soul if she's still alive? Is she still inside the body or in some ether space?
3) If Naksu's soul will get rejected for her memories (another new bs), then JBY should also get rejected - because the body no longer resembles JBY's soul.
4) What was even the point of this doomed transformation and whom master Lee really wanted to save here, if anybody? He said in the beginning of this season that FL will eventually remember herself one way or the other, so apparently it was a doomed intervention from the start.

The only theory I can come up with is that master Lee somehow interacted with JBY and she told him to heal her petrified body by using Naksu's energy and then she'll return, kick Naksu out and transform the body back into her og one. If that's what they were planning, I'm throwing this drama into the dumpster bin and setting it on fire 🔥👿.

Some delulu fans are crazy that Naksu used a CPR like kiss to save Yul's life (you'll understand when you watch it). It's nothing, just some cray cray people blowing it out of proportions.

What was the point of CP in the fire bird chamber? He was there because he was bored and wanted to supervise? Everybody even knew he and Uk in one room was dangerous because they could have woken the fire bird with their arguing. I felt like CP's presence there was unnecessary, yet another insert for comic relief.

But because of the turtle, of all things, I think CP is a double agent now. He was really angry that Jin Mu threatened him with blackmail and I think he now works undercover to undermine Jin Mu and stop him from repeating part 1 massacre.
