Which one graveyeard? The one Uk built? But there were no flower fields there, just a regular forest.

The photos are different because FL wears a headband there, sheโ€™s not wearing it at the end of episode 8.

Excellent. Looks cheerful.
And yea, if it's afterlife, then master Lee doesn't belong in there together with the leads ๐Ÿ˜‚.

Anyway, let's hope for a happy ending! ๐Ÿค—

I dunno, kinda looks grasping at straws.
However, let's apply some logic to this.
The fact that the leads are strolling around in a field of flowers wearing jewelry kinda implies they've reason to loaf around and maybe even celebrate something, Naksu usually doesn't wear any jewelry.
I doubt it's something from episode 9 where they'll be spending their last moments together, thinking FL will be gone soon.
And I doubt it's JBY in Naksu looking body either. If Naksu dies again I think Uk'll just kill himself for good.
Not sure what to say about master Lee's presence there other than he's a spoilsport.

What woman? I thought it was master Lee there as a third person? He can kick the bucket along with the leads any time as well. That would spoil their afterlife though, who wants to listen to that guy's cryptic bs even there ๐Ÿ˜….

I think Jin Bu Yeon told Naksu "you will soon leave this body without sadness" meaning that Naksu needs to return…
JBY said that with a context that it would have happened had Naksu not remembered herself before JBY fully regained her divine powers. JBY most likely meant that she would have kicked her out still being clueless about her sad past. Naksu would have disappeared as that cheerful innocent girl with no memories and no regrets. But since she remembered everything, she's in agony now - about her past, about having to push away Uk, about her impending doom.

Not to contradict myself, as I'm in pro happy ending camp, but that frequently mentioned field of flowers scene:
1) may not be from the ending, but from somewhere before, filming is usually done out of order;
2) may be the frikking afterlife ๐Ÿคฃ

But again, I hope those photos are from a happy ending scene.

KINDA UNREALISTIC BUT NAKSU COMPLETELY DISAPPEARING BU YEON TAKE OVER ND SHE SOMEHOW ERASES UKS MEMORY OR ALTER…
Priestesses, not shamans. Jin Cho-Yeon spoke to Mu-Deok about it in part 1. But so far nobody from Jin clan did it. Naksu lost her memories as a side effect of body transformation, not because mama Jin did it.

Yeah and it is even helpful for the poplarity as a happy ending or satisfying ending will make kt a hit, people…
Exactly, nobody likes rewatching dramas with sad, unsatisfying endings. I sure don't.
To make this drama a classic hit they gotta stop beating the poor leads into a pulp with constant misfortune and suffering, and give the audience what they want finally - a happy ending!

Nobody knows, the last books are still coming, like the dragons ๐Ÿคฃ. The writer will more likely die first than finish them, especially considering he's getting sidetracked often lately.

Don't remind me of GoT ๐Ÿคฎ I was goaded into watching it before the last season, but it already started going down the drain after around season 4. Last season was written like someone's bad fanfic. That's what you get when the source material is finished half way through the series and the rest is written by hacks.
AoS has no chance of going stale, thankfully, and the writers are still the same.

Everyone is such a downer here, I'm starting to get depression just by reading the comments. ๐Ÿ˜‘
Come on, guys, it's not over yet, have some hope for a good ending! ๐Ÿค—๐Ÿ™

Everything is going differently than in part 1:
-nobody's carelessly celebrating or making future plans, the leads are dead serious now and mulling over their impending doom via JBY and ice stone removal;
-everybody's working together now to take down Jin Mu and his secret cabal, even CP is onboard this time;
-Naksu's almost there to regain her old self, she now has a body that looks like her;

I've hopes for a good ending, personally, because of the above points and because it would be very dumb to repeat the same sad ending, and furthermore, that off the charts chemistry must not go to waste!

Iโ€™m curious. What is GYJ listed as Jin Bu-Yeon only in Asianwiki, and here as Naksu/Cho-Yeong/Jin Bu-Yeon. Has…
It's more accurate here.
Naksu is FL's professional nickname as an assassin. Her real name is Cho Yeong. In part 1 her soul possessed Jin Bu-Yeon's body through alchemy of souls. In part 2 Jin Bu-Yeon's body was transformed to look like Naksu, as a side effect Naksu lost her memories and mama Jin lied to her that she's Jin Bu-Yeon.

Not to mention GYJ narrated Naksu's inner thoughts throughout Part 1. That makes her soul being played by JSM…
The reason is probably very pragmatic. It's cheaper having to pay one actress for all scenes than both.
Just like what they're doing in part 2 with that child actress, instead of JSM. Child actors are way cheaper.

LoL, I know right, it's weird theory. But seeing how they even show her dead body and Yul's plan to visit her…
It's just their closure scenes. At least they got some on screen, unlike other couple's subplot (Dang Gu and Cho Yeon). And So-i had a shitty life, but she did a nice thing in the end, so gotta send her off respectfully.

I'm avoiding reading any theories at this point, best to wait and see what Hong sisters came up with.
Yea, it was always pointless to guess, because nobody usually could figure it out correctly anyway. And with whimsical shenanigans that the writers come up with in part 2 you can also throw any logic out the window, it seems. They just invent stuff on the fly now, previously established lore be damned.
