There are numerous obvious signs that's it's still Naksu along with Bu-Yeon in same body again. But mama Jin sure did a number on her with her priestess magic - erased her memories good.

Yea, I'm sure that's where they're leading the endgame plot. They never say anything in this drama just because, it always resurfaces later.

I think they need to rewatch part 1 then, the vibe is still the same. But I guess that won't help those who were there for JSM.

Yea. I'm very fresh from rewatching part 1 and I got the same vibes from part 2's first episode. Maybe it's good that they shot them back to back, everyone is still in the zone.

I think he'll destroy her tracking bracelet and hide her in his house. They can't get married out in the open, mama Jin will scream bloody murder.

Agreed, I got good quality vibes from the first episode.

I'm as baffled as the next person. They need to explain it for sure. I'm just stating the facts here - they were attempting to resurrect Bu-Yeon. What the ef happened that Naksu's body came alive instead of Bu-Yeon's is still an annoying mystery.

I wrote a lengthy explanation a few posts below. It's pretty obvious both are still inside her, but now in Naksu's body.

Also, Uk is now Daeho's Superman 🦸‍♂️! His powers are off the charts!

Btw, if anyone hated that three year gap, here are two explanations for you:
-In SK mourning period can last for 3 years. Papa Jin was killed and it was a good excuse to keep Jinyowon on lockdown to secretly try resurrecting Bu-Yeon. Even Cho-Yeon was a sitting duck and Dang-Gu hasn't seen her all these years.
-Judging by the teasers, resurrecting FL was not a fast and easy task - she was shown having petrification marks. So perhaps it really did take 3 years to restore her.

Yea, I got the same vibe. She's doing a great job.

Also, big drought is coming again it seems. Looks like they're setting the plot for the history repeat.

It seems there are still two souls inside her, but writers are doing their best to confuse the audience.

Yea, let's see whether Yul is a true friend or a backstabbing third wheeler. His friendship will be put to a test here.

Mama Jin would absolutely not allow it for two reasons:
-she wants a subservient husband material to keep FL imprisoned in Jinyowon.
-she hates Uk for being involved in the death of her husband and being in cohoots with Naksu who used her daughter's body. He also has the ice stone, which Jin clan was supposed to keep.

Mama Jin will immediately aggro like a rabid bull if that ever happens. But who cares about her? Uk now is Daeho's equivalent of Superman, he can do anything.

I'm here for the characters, not actors, so I'm not biased towards either actress.
But I gotta say, I really liked GYJ performance here, she's definitely holding her own.
And I'm fresh from rewatching part 1, so I can tell that the scene where she was talking to Uk in the tavern asking him to marry her - everything just screamed Naksu there, from that particular sly tone to facial expressions. It was great to watch 🤭.
And GYJ's voice is soooo similar to JSM, it's very easy to get accustomed to her.

I'm sure most people who watched epiosde 1 have the same big question on their mind:
Is this Naksu or Bu-Yeon?

1. First, from what was shown, even mama Jin is not sure 100% - she unconvincingly tried to assure Cho-Yeon that Naksu's soul died and she has the right to use her body for Bu-Yeon. Whatever they did to bring her back, they couldn't use Bu-Yeon's original body, but somehow magically conjured Naksu's body. But she was still shown with petrification signs in the past in the preview. Ok, but if that's Bu-Yeon, mama Jin, why the cold shoulder and keeping her locked in a dungeon like room for three years? I'm not buying it.

2. Second, yes this new girl sees energy, but that was the same when Naksu was in the body of Bu-Yeon and shared it with Bu-Yeon's soul.

3. And most importantly, she's not blind. We all saw in part 1 that every time Bu-Yeon's soul surfaced into the forefront to take control, Mu-Deok turned blind. So if this new girl was solely Bu-Yeon, she would have been blind as well.

All in all, mama Jin f*cked up again. And she knows it. She mistreats the girl because she knows Naksu is still inside her. But she wants to marry her off as Bu-Yeon, because Bu-Yeon is still inside there somewhere as well and the girl can produce an heir with priestly powers.
And lastly, we also know from Cho-Yeon's words in part 1 that Jin priestesses can erease and scramble memories, which is exactly what they did with Naksu here.

Hopefully this amnesia bs plot will get resolved soon. And they won't be able to hide Naksu once she's out in the wild - many people know her face and questions will be raised how the ef that is supposed to be Bu-Yeon.
