Indeed, I'm very satisfied with where the plot is going at the moment. They're doing all the right things so far.

Master Lee told mama Jin had 2 options:
1. Just do nothing and let her die. Which she refused.
2. Save Bu-Yeon's body at the expense of her soul.
Somehow he could only do it with still lingering Naksu's energy. Bu-Yeon apparently had none of her own and she was clinging to Naksu's soul. To save the body and use Naksu's energy master Lee had to remove Bu-Yeon's apparently already dead soul from Naksu's. Then Bu-Yeon's body magically started taking shape of Naksu's soul to give both body and soul harmony - so she's no longer a soul shifter now. But Bu-Yeon's blood is still coursing through her, which allowed her to open Jin vault and see energy. But since her memories are gone because of this transformation, her powers are locked as well. But he said she'll regain them once she remembers herself. I only didn't get one thing - will she regain both her magical powers and Bu-Yeon's priestly ones?

And yea, I pointed this out as well - if powers are passed down through the body it means that what Jang Kang and late king believed in is bs. Or a retcon, or nobody actually knows shit how it works in Daeho.

But in any case, it's a best case scenario for lucky Naksu - she's back in her own body, will regain her powers, no longer a soul shifter, there's no peeping tom sharing space with her.

And mama Jin will get nothing in the end. That birthing an heir in hopes of passing down priestly powers idea was just dumb and now Uk will take Naksu for himself.

I think his plan will revolve around making Naksu take the ice stone out of Uk.

Totally agree. I'm satisfied that mama Jin will end up with nothing, she really had it coming, even if it's at Bu-Yeon's expense. And I got the finality for Bu-Yeon that I wanted, which they showed. All is right.

I dunno, I got the strong impression he really did believe the trololo late king. And he left Uk all those credentials from late king.
But then again, I think nobody actually knows shit about biology there.

And l like that Uk still gives zero efs what people think of him and remains bold and straightforward. And he's gonna take Naksu from crazy mama Jin's clutches and nobody can do shit about him now 😆.
Jin Mu strangely enough was the only person who rememberd Naksu atm (wtf is wrong with Yul?) and of course immediately started plotting, but I'm sure he'll get what's coming to him now.

I love all the plot reversals here.
Now it's Uk who is a brooding, cold hearted assassin and Naksu is a perky one.
In part 1 Naksu stayed all night trying to warm Uk, when he was struggling with his energy. Now it's Uk who stayed at her bed all night, trying to warm her up.
In part 1 it was Uk who needed to unlock his energy and learn magic skills. Now it's Naksu who is a clueless noob who needs to unlock her own powers by remembering who she is and learn new ones that of a priestess.

Yea, I don't understand her decision. If her daughter's soul is dead, what's the point of resurrecting her body, which doesn't even look like her daughter now?
She really hates Naksu, she should have just let her die then. Instead she allowed master Lee to rez her and tormented her and herself for 3 years. What a crazy sad bitch. She'll get nothing in the end from this, her daughter is gone.

Well, she couldn't save Naksu from the bells, so I guess she wasn't that powerful. And mama Jin seem to be prone to exagerration and vanity.
But whatever, if you're not here for the OTP couple I guess that's it then, don't watch it.

Master Yoda, I mean master Lee, is one sly bastard. He's prepping the leads for something (big finale with the drought maybe) and I think he tricked mama Jin hard. I guess he was rooting for them. But he could have told Uk about Naksu, Uk may not have suffered so hard for 3 years.

And I guess that's it for Bu-Yeon - a sad end. Her soul is dead, her body converted to take shape of Naksu's soul. But good for Naksu I guess, she's back in her body and no longer a soul shifer. She just needs to regain her memories.

And mama Jin got nothing in the end, she's stuck in limbo now, the only thing left of Bu-Yeon is the blood still coursing through what is now Naksu's body. I'm good with that, she didn't deserve to have Bu-Yeon back. And I hope she gets locked up herself in the end, because she's just crazy.

I gotta say it's either a big retcon or a confirmation that genetics pass down through biology, not souls.
Mama Jin believed that since Bu-Yeon's blood still courses in Naksu's body, Naksu can birth an heir with priestess powers. This contradicts what Jang Kang and late King believed in - they believed genetics pass down through souls.
My guess is nobody actually knows shit and believe in whatever nonsense they want since it's basically medieval fantasy times with no science whatsoever. And mama Jin is a dumb delulu bitch.

She thinks Bu-Yeon is still inside there somewhere as well. But I agree, mama Jin is a crazy delulu hag.

U serious? It's still Naksu, in Naksu's body. And Bu-Yeon is still most likely there as well, since mama Jin keeps her alive.

Jin priestesses can wipe and scramble memories. It was mentioned by Cho-Yeon in part 1.
