I guess this rating is unfair, may be this is having this high rating because it's on Netflix and having good…
It's a rom-com, most people like this genre. And it has all the classic cliche tropes that people like. While suprnatural thriller is far from everyone's cup of tea. Plus, as you say, KTL is on Netflix, much bigger coverage.
Personally, I don't think Revenant warrants a higher score, it's good, but not amazing. If you look underneath the ghost element it's just another detective story. And while FL actress really shines there, ML actor is underutilized. He has range, but there he's always stone faced and serious.
Yeah, I didn't care for the stereotypical Arab prince. I'm HOPING it's just a prank. Like the prince knows Gu…
They most likely studied at the same university. ML probably annoyed the heck out of the prince with his attitute, so now is his chance for some payback.
It was a fun episode, but the Arab prince representation was so cliche. Of course it's gonna be that "would you marry me...and join my harem of 6 wives" or smth like that. And ML of course must save FL from his lecherous advances.π
Tail of nine tailed both seasons are LEGENDARY.S1 of TONT was iconic and a classic.S2 of TONT was out-of-the-world.
I don't particularly like the main lead actor. He's always playing any role with a world weary, tired face. Like, "why are you all bothering me?" kinda look and attitude. The drama itself is fine so far, if cliche.
i think its the other ghost that killer blogger - greedy one.. and that ghost is in FL"s friends's bodybecause…
I don't think so. I think it's FL's ghost that did her in. She needed money to get dressed up and we've seen her from ghost's perspective, being possesed until the end of the party. But I'd like to be surprised, sure. FL's ghost killed too many people already.
And they still have not explained how ML got rid himself of the ghost when he was a child. And how the same ghost got into the burned hair accessory, and then to FL's father.
In "see you in my 19 life", I like the concept of reincarnation because that's what the kdrama is literally about,…
I don't like it either, tbh. As well as destiny and childhood connection tropes. You gotta work on your relationships, not rely on destiny. And people change with time, a cute kid could turn into a total pos in adulthood. And in that case comes another cliche trope - I can fix him! π
I finally started watching Tale of The Nine Tailed season 1, because of good scores for season 2 and I gotta say watching it in parallel with Heartbeat makes the latter look very cheap. Especially those fast vampire flying tricks. Studio Dragon sure has money for big budget kdramas.
And how many regurgitated "immortal ML waiting for reincarnation of mortal FL" plots are out there in kdramaland? Seems like every other fantasy kdrama uses same old tropes.
Another lengthy post, so please bear with me. And feel free to let me know if you disagree: I believe that it's…
I never thought of him like that to begin with. I've seen him in various roles, from comedic to serious, he's just a good actor. I'm staying here mostly for him.
The interior of HaeS home. Itβs so spacious & nice.https://twitter.com/onlytaeri_0424/status/1676211368771616771?s=46
I didn't like it in the dama. Those walls apparently are some sort of wood, but on screen they look like they're made of cement. So everything looked very cold, gray and dreary. Homes should be warm and cozy, imho. These designer houses may look good on photos, but I wouldn't want to live in them.
I would have called the police long ago and let them take him in for breaking and entering. Maxing out a credit…
Not, really. Her screams are like nails on a chalk board. That can't be helped, but add to that her overacting and one may start to wonder whether a different actress could have been cast. As for the police, she should have done that from the very beginning and not half heartedly, she had lots of opportunities since the first day. If she wants him gone it's the best way. But if she doesn't and believes him then why all the freaking screaming? Believe the guy and help him back on his feet, or something, he clearly looks out of his element in contemporary time.
How did ML got rid himself of the ghost? He opened the door and the shadow was on him when his mother killed herself aka. the ghost forced her to. But then we see that the ghost got transferred to FL through the head accessory. The same head accessory that was half burned by ML's mother. Did he take it and the ghost was transferred into it? How did it end up in possession of FL's father?
im half way elisode 3. how can a 400 yrs old vampire be sk naive? * not to say stupid.
I'm more surprised they haven't started an enterprise with inheritance like in Goblin. And could have gotten all the educations possible thrice over. I guess all of them are too dumb.
