Yea, this drama is underrated. But judging by the amount of user scores it simply looks like not many people know about it. Gonna be another one of those hidden gems that flew under the radar it seems. Disney+ needs to promote kdramas better, it's not the first time.
Save your excitement...it's just talks. I remember the last episode of season 2 of Hwang Si Mok (had to copy and…
I felt like chaebol family plot was left unfinished. In the first season there was that old head of the family (who's actor always plays the same type of villain). Then his daughter stepped into the spotlight in season 2. She was fighting for control over the conglomerate with her offscreen brother. And that side plot ended nowhere. For coherency of the story I think characters from that family need to get involved in season 3 as well. If it happens, that is.
Attorney Lee Joo Young (Lee Chung Ah) has more screen presence, more effect in this series. But she is on the…
I felt like her screen presence felt more important than the actual FL. ML even made an inside joke after his backstory episodes ended that it's been a while since she got to show herself. How does that make sense?? I think the writers went completely off track with ML's backstory, should have left that tangent tale for another drama.
Lol, i don't get mdl's massive hate boner for this drama. But then again, i rarely agree with the ratings or comments…
Showing consent is good, but it's like a joke - if you need to explicitly explain it then it's a miss. At times it felt like I was watching some educational clips sprinkled with law clauses instead of a rom-com, 4th wall breaking didn't help with immersion either. And weirdest part of it was that characters talking about these things were rather old, it would have fitted younger ones better instead. I think writers shouldn't have increased that already ridiculous waiting time gap from the source material. The more old the characters are, the more offputting their immature behavior becomes.
Aside from utterly ridiculous and unbelievable giant time gap of waiting and doing nothing, I also didn't like how ML was running around with FL like she's a precious egg or smth. It just made him look like a desperate doormat.
FL's character also wasn't particularly my cup of tea - too rowdy and emotional to be a believably good lawyer. And some of her behaviour only someone with a patience of a saint, like ML, would have been able to tolerate.
Well, the last two episodes were cringey soap I just couldn't stand. And considering ridiculous time gap premise, and uneven overall writing, with lots of filler, I guess it's a 6.5 from me.
I loved FL, but something happened after some episode. Also this series just randomly written, there is no exact…
I think the writing started to go downhill a while ago. Lately it was either an ok episode or some crap filler. But episode 15 was the final nail in the coffin, what a cringey soap 🤦♂️ . This drama should have been 12 episodes to keep the plot tight.
Ffs, what the hell? What is this cringey soap in episode 15? Everyone is so fake and overacting, the villain is just so cliche 🤮 And police, just f*cking shoot the guy, he's wide open, the victim is on the floor. Jeez...🤦♂️ I don't like this show at all anymore, what a mess. Feels like the script was written by a teen or smth.

Even FL actress agrees that ambiguousness of her character's pose in the poster is too on the nose. Yea, she may still be the villain behind the villain, but for me, personally, that would ruin her character who was shown to have genuine integrity, compassion and curiosity to find the truth. If you wanna make a believable villain out of someone you gotta show some glimpses at least. I'd like to believe that her character, like ML, is just one that got involved in this mess and wants to find justice. Actress spoke of it as well.
But then again, you gotta wonder what else are they gonna show in 4 more episodes. Chasing the revealed killer? Maybe there's someone else behind him still and I'm not talking about the obvious chef.

It's always problematic to cover traumatic real life events if they are recent and the victims are still alive, even as fiction. Someone's bound to be offended and hurt just by people dragging this into the light again, while others may feel it needs to be reminded of. Don't know what to say here, it's just awful.
That would be an interesting twist, but completely out of the blue. She never acted sus and her compassion and questioning various people to find answers felt genuine. If she's suddenly a villain it would feel like character swap. If you're judging just by the new poster then it's dubious. Unlike the killer's hand that was revealed to be not ML brother's, FL and her hand weren't hidden from the very beginning. It's open to interpretation of course, but her actions are not implicating so far in any way.
