Some of you guys are so quick to paint Hye Soo as a villain. But most of this show's characters are never so simple, or black and white, their motives are not on the surface. Yea, she's a smart, calculating and morally grey woman. But I see what she's been doing lately from a different perspective. Her passive attitude changed immediately after she confirmed that her late love was killed. She now acts to exact revenge - manipulating people to kill the whole Kwon family, taking their stuff and company is justice.
And did she suddenly invent this whole "taking over" plan on her own by using the circumstances to her advantage? Or are her goals still aligned with Woo Shin with whom she talked at length prior? I think she's gonna lure team A into a trap, to a final confrontation with SIH. And that crazy bitch Sun along with her mute sister will die as well. But even if she did invent this whole thing on her own and will take over Haesong - still props to her, good job ππ€£ .
Also, called it that Adamas is in the toy π.
P.S. Team A stashing dead bodies in barrels with cement in an abandoned building is a dumb idea - somebody will find them eventually. Should have just buried or dumped them at sea, they're already prepped for that.
No, It's pure trash. If not for Ji Sung, no one would be watching this.
There are at least 7 kdramas I like this year, but there are as many if not more that are just plain bad. Which is fine, for they canβt possibly all be a hit. I guess me criticizing those garners more attention than positive feedback of the others π. Or you never watched any of those good ones.
I'm sure there won't be as much as in recent Alchemy of Souls π , I survived through its endless love polygons, I can survive watching them here. Though I do hate love triangles...
I see, as usual those mangas are endless π. The drama adaptation won't follow it to the letter then, because it only has 12 short episodes and will have to have a definitive ending.
The show is pretty fun, easy going and good. You can see how the plot will move for rest of the episodes & we…
Drinking ridiculous number of bottles of soju and beer, female getting wasted, piggyback home, blackout about what happened last night - those are the tropes you can see in practically every second kdrama. They're all alcoholics there and are promoting that kind of culture through their media.
I find the acting of both FL & ML (Han Ji Yul) awkward and somehow not quite right or is this how the writer wanted…
They're supposed to be awkward at this point in the plot. They don't know how to act around each other - common beginning in rom-com kdramas. ML is clueless and frankly is awkward with everyone in that village because he's out of his element, and their nosiness annoys him. But he stumbles upon FL so frequently she's already creeping into his thoughts. FL knows ML from their childhood days (he was her childhood crush?) and silently tries to get him to remember her, but he still doesn't, so she's kinda butt hurt about it. I'm sure he'll come around eventually and it's gonna get sugar sweet π¨ π.
Is there anything sadder than expecting it to have a happy ending and waiting till the last minutes of episode…
If you found this cliffhanger ending painful I'd advice against watching Alchemy of Souls - it's x20 times more painful than than this one. Good thing its part 2 is airing this December, but people are going nuts already.
As for me, I wasn't really all that invested in "Poong, the Joseon Psychiatrist" characters or story. A rather draggy tale with ridiculous medicinal practices, cartoonish villains and the leads are so innocent I'm willing to bet they'll beat around the bush until the end of the next season (or are there gonna be more than 2?). In any case, not too bad of a show, but could have been way better. My favorite character here is Jo Shin Woo - he's a cool warrior with a cool hat and cool sense of justice, I hope he'll return in season 2 π. Joseon hats are π!
it's probably due to plastic surgery. she looked weird in forecasting too
Yea, I was thinking the same, she looks weird here. Like a victim of a plastic surgery gone wrong. Latest teaser just really highlights that there's something very off about her face: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J46pHaPpg3M
I know she did some plastic surgery already earlier, but here it looks like something extra was done. π€¦ββοΈ Personally, because how wooden/unnatural her face started to look in dramas starting from What's Wrong with Secretary Kim (2018) I can no longer find her acting enjoyable anymore. She was better way back during Healer times, when she had a more natural looking face.
Youβre better off not watching this drama if all you do is nitpick and complain about the characters. Whatβs…
I'm all for character development, but after 17 years there hasn't been much of it seems, especially for ML. But of course, it will start now with the law cafe π . I can critique the ridiculous premise if it's ridiculous, can I not?
Let me guess, they're all ongoing and we're watching the same ones. What a whooping coincidence π. Also, not all ongoing ones I'm watching are bad for me, but praising comments are not interesting, right? Some people just can't pass by any critique of something they like...

It's big tax money, maybe that's why it gets encouraged in SK. SK is the heavyweight in alcohol comsumption in East Asia. They rank high worldwide as well, here for example they're ranked 4th:
