I figured out who the main villain is after that actress's child episode, which was early. Showrunners are not even trying here - everything is cheap, lazy and halfbaked. Could have been a nice rom-com with a bigger budget and better writers maybe, but overall it just seems like a waste of actors talents.
So for those who finished watching, are you guys disappointed or neutral? Cuz I'm among of letdown viewers. It…
The ending was very disappointing, however they've lost the plot even earlier. I'm not looking forward to any sequels, I actually hope there won't be any.
I wanted to give this drama an 8+ initially, but 1) the writers lost the plot after the anniversary event at the villain's house, which was the pinnacle episode. What was this story about in the end? Finding Adamas? Revenge? Closure? A beaten to death tale of "The Tail That Waged The Dog?" 🤷♂️ I don't think even the writers know, it turned out to be a mess.
2) they've easily dealt with the more prominent villains from the Kwon family and substituted them with an unipressive cartoonishly evil underling and a trophy wife turned mastermind? Disappointing;
3) Hye Soo being accepted as the heir of Haesong makes no sense - she didn't participate in the company's management, didn't seem to have any experience on the side and was spending most of her time pretending to be a busy trophy wife, acting all stone faced and cool with no substance. Why would ex-team A members/shareholders take her side instead of Kwon family heir? 🤷♂️ But I guess since her husband is permanently incapacitated now it doesn't really matter...
4) last episodes had too much random and reckless bs from both sides;
5) many characters turned out to be too bland in the end, with practically no character development, the most humane character I could identify with was the reporter girl;
6) that deranged cringey Sun character was not dealt with;
7) open ending with no closure is a big NO for me, especially when there's no guarantee that sequel is in the plans. Also, what would that sequel even be about? All the intrigue and cool mystery vibe is gone halfway through the series. I'm not looking forward to it.
8) in the end it started to remind me too much of Graceful Family's plot with TOP being substituted for Team A here. And I hate that makjang bs drama with a passion.
It was last gift for soo Hyun from his step father or soo Hyun thought it like that. He felt guilty all his life…
But their real father had no way of knowing they’d keep the toy for so long or what meaning it will have after step father’s unplanned murder. And as he was sitting in jail, he had no means to check. And the meaning of that toy could very well have been twisted the other way - their step father died because of the stupid toy so it could have been thrown out in anger straight away. But usually kids when they grow just get rid of their toys. This is just one of those seemingly minor things that could have led to a major screw up.
But in any case, Adamas seemingly stopped being important anyway several episodes ago after the twins identified the real killer. Now it’s just a bargaining chip that led to betrayal.
Just one thing bothering me here - twins' real dad hid Adamas in the toy with no way of knowing what they would do with it later. It could have ended in a trash dump ages ago! What would they have done then? 😂
Did it bother another how small Eun Sunwoo's suit was in today's episode? I don't know if it was supposed to be…
Yea, this show is very cheap, I wouldn't be surprised if it's not some sort of fashion but a suit a few sizes too short. Also, lead actors are kinda meh, I'm not feeling the chemistry between them. Even second couple is doing a better job.
In the previous episode, the mean bitchy ahjumma from the other village asked Ja Young why her mother has not…
Seems like her mother abandonded her, so she basically has no parents. In SK it's some kind of dumb outdated stigma to be an orphan/without parents, especially among older generation. It's like it immediately equals you're inferior/had no proper upbringing/poor/delinquent and is not suitable as a marriage candidate. Don't ask 🤦♂️
Vet prices in the US are just ridiculous (just like human medical care). I have a friend there and sometimes I…
Yea, got serious health issues? Better be prepared to sell your healthy organs because even insurance won't cover it. For example, even broken collarbone surgery with a plate insertion will cost more than $4K+ with insurance (and whooping $200k+ without). Many people don't have enough money to cover their own medical bills, let alone a vet's. 🤦♂️
It's not bad, some people just don't like slow burn dramas and most likely dropped it after a few episodes. Also,…
Writer twin is very smart and calculating. He came to the house with a vague plan, but managed to befriend some key characters and create big discord in the villains family. Prosecutor twin is a hot headed hotshot, but he managed to befriend key characters and secret organization to help him investigate the case from the other side.

So, considering all of the above it's a 6.5.
