No, It's pure trash. If not for Ji Sung, no one would be watching this.
That's just your opinion 🙄. My opinion is it's pretty good and underrated. Underrated probably because there's no romance and it's more cerebral than action oriented.

This was a lovely watch.. I enjoyed it very much.. The difference between every rom-com is how the main leads…
I agree about the mystery/suspence thrillers - they usually take themselves too seriously while having dumb mistakes in the plot. Or have weird plot twists by the end that ruin the whole thing. More often than not I end up figuring out who's the villain is or what the mystery is about halfway through the show and get very bored after, especially if the show continues dragging suspence just for the sake of it without moving the plot much. The worst such offenders for me were Beyond Evil and Link: Eat, Love, Kill. What an overhyped pos.

P.S. If you haven't watched it already I can recommend one recent drama that has romance, comedy and mystery with a highly unpredictable plot - Alchemy of Souls.
And a more cerebral drama that is a mystery thriller that is currently ongoing - Adamas.

The nurse helped the actress to stage her own murder and to escape with her child. This sub plot concludes in episode 3.

No, the child with a heart disease is actress' child whom she thought was dead until recently, the same actress that was supposedly killed. She got help from that nurse and staged her own murder to get away from her child's real father. He's also the one who gave her the necklace.

A mix of sci-fi, fantasy and historical drama with a very weird plot, chaotic pacing and abrupt cliffhanger ending. Writer needed to work on this some more. Or better yet, they should have made it into a miniseries.
7 out 10. Maybe will watch part 2.

🤔 You must have watched way more rom-coms than me to find this one generic and I've seen quite a few because…
Dunno, CL didn’t feel draggy to me and it was definitely more complex than ABP, so 16 episodes was ok. ABP on the other hand, needed more than 12 to have a proper ending. Could have gotten a higher score from me if they didn’t rush it so badly. But then again, the plot stopped being fresh after 6 episodes and became predictable to a T.

I disagree about ABP being better than CL, but to each their own 🤷‍♂️ Also, in CL, aside from useless comic relief characters of FL’s friend and brother, the rest of the sub plots involving other characters served a purpose to progress ML’s character development and redemption arc, they were not filler.

Funny you put A Business Proposal higher than this drama. It had the most predictable, cliche-ist of cliches plot and besides tropey interactions between the leads it had barely anything going for it. Stopped being fresh after FL’s masquerade was exposed by ML, which happened in mere 6 episodes. The rest was predictable af with a very abrupt rushed ending that implemented another dumb cliche trope - LDR, for no good reason whatsoever. ABP basically was carried by two hilarious girlfriend actresses, the rest of the cast was so so and ML as a boss had nothing on ML in Crazy Love.

In any case, it’s weird you nitpicking CL as being generic while bringing up
ABP as an example - one of the most generic, tropiest rom-coms out there 😂 It’s puzzling 🤔

You're suffering from SML syndrome, get some help now because it's not gonna happen. There is only one otp couple…
These writers love to insert love triangles in their dramas, they just can't help themselves. And here it seems the more, the better. It's all filler though that ends nowhere, along with all the other meandering scenes to prolong this show to 20 episodes. Don't overthink it.

UK loves Naksu and Naksu loves Uk. Why should they end with people that they don't love? 😊
You mean they had a childhood crush on each other that Yul kept thinking of even in his adult days. Naksu moved on from that a while ago and loves only Uk. Nobody can handle her like he does. Besides that, Naksu clearly rejected Yul already, so there's no point for him to third wheel the otp couple anymore.
Also, there is no Mu-Deok, it was Naksu in Bu-Yeon's body. Nobody knows Bu-Yeon though and she's not gonna return according to the news. There's gonna be just Naksu in her og body and Uk.

You're suffering from SML syndrome, get some help now because it's not gonna happen. There is only one otp couple - Uk & Naksu (in whatever body). The rest are there to hopelessly third wheel on them. And Naksu clearly rejected Yul already as herself, so unless he has no self respect he's not gonna continue third wheeling them. They may even give him a new romantic interest in part 2, there are a few candidates.

The plot is very generic, nothing special. I don't watch that many romance dramas, but I'm pretty sure I can name…
🤔 You must have watched way more rom-coms than me to find this one generic and I've seen quite a few because it's one of my favorite genres. Yes, it has your typical boss and secretary premise and since it's a rom-com (🙄) you can pretty much guess correctly how it will end.

However, I disagree about the plot itself being generic. It has a rather slow start to give time for character exposition and the crux of their problems, so after 4 episodes you can't really say anything definitive how it will gonna go. But after the plot starts moving in full swing there are a lot of unpredictable situations and funny moments that are very entertaining to watch. Sure, it's not some brainy mystery thriller that the audience has to solve, but there are elements of that here as well. This drama mixes familiar tropes in a rather unpredictable and surprisingly balanced way.

Also, while I agree that the leads background is generic for a rom-com, the situations they got themselves into are not, especially FL. And their actors did an admirable job at portraying them.

So I'm not sure what you were expecting out of a rom-com, but compared to others I think this one stands out as being one of the better ones, with excellent character development and well thought out plot that stays solid and doesn't forget its details until the very end.

This is such an underrated drama. WHY? lol. It's so good. It's well paced and the actor's performance is executed…
Yea, it's very funny, insightful and characters are varied and interesting. I like this short format some dramas adopt recently - it makes the plot very tight with no fillers.

Yea, and I bet the name she finally coughed up has nothing to do with that guy being the father of her son and the one who gave her the necklace. He's too young to be ML mom's killer and it's most likely just a red herring. I think the one who's her son's father and who gave her the necklace was that guy's reserved father. He looked sus and calculating.

This is a very silly drama, if it gets as dumb and annoying as Cafe Minamdang I'm dropping it. So far it holds mainly on the charm of the actors.
Writing here also leaves much to be desired. Copycatting Facebook's Metaverse, NFTs and cryptocurrency into a clueless jumbled mix to make ML sound smart and competent as a CEO of a serious SK company was so cringe 🤣 And that scene where ML asks a woman to simply tell him a name and she gives an absolutely lolwut reply that there's no time because her son needs a surgery and the flight is in an hour. Telling a name takes only a second, are you serious?? 🤣🙄🤦‍♂️
Also, that nurse needs to go to jail - she's a pro sleeping drug stealer and stabber.

P.S. FL has a funny surname that defines her character. Don means "money". She'd do anything for teh money! 😂

Totally agree with you. If Yoon Jung doesn’t portray the same Naksu/Mudeok as the one So Min played, then it…
Yea, GYJ just gotta deliver now, otherwise this whole body swap twist simply will not work. It's already gonna be awkward seeing another face as Naksu both for the audience and characters who got used to Mu-Deok, I hope it's not gonna get ruined by her not being able to act like the same character.
